GM's thread about nothing (15 Viewers)

As long as we're shark pooling it - I'm in two leagues and was the leading scorer in both. Have Ray Rice, Hakeem Nicks, and Demaryious Thomas in both. :deadbanana:

Angrywide and Yuke at the hospital emergency room with probable RSV. I'm drinking beer and throwing rocks in the creek with JR. Its good to be the dad.
Probably don't want to call her this to her face.
 Might make her angry if I did that.

They're still at the waiting room. Pointing out that patients are seen according to need rather than time and that she probably should have just waited until tomorrow and taken him to the regular doctor was apparently not the appropriate response when she called to ##### about how long they'd been there.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Aaron>hope your Bills keep it close today.Ok, no I don't
I'm in Wyoming. Not sure I could care less but they are still our bills.
Where at in the 307?the whole state is in 1 area code
was near rock springs I think. Now I'm in Fort Collins, CO
I drove through Wyoming once. That was enough. That state is so desolate and baron and remote and Stephen Kingy. When do you move back to Vantucky?

wife just took a shoe to the shin from 5 paces. very proud of her. i know if i were in that situation i would have done the same thing.
And no one cares what you would do.
THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE IN THE FFA CARE, GUY, OR I WOULDN'T HAVE 50,000+ POSTS
About as compelling as your Bud Light labels beef.
maybe you haven't seen it? that's my best guess.

I liked Wyoming more than Nebraska.

Wyoming wasn't bad at all. Some nice scenery. Beats South Dakota for sure. Took a detour to Colorado and then will try to burn through as much of Nebraska and Iowa tomorrow as we can.

Did you stay in Fort Collins, Aaron? Cool town. Good Mexican food, believe it or not.

Also, Tom Brady's 2.8 points are killing me. Oh well, no more magic football for the year.

Its getting toward the end of the year:

I'll kick this off with a new poster of the year nomination for swc.

Its a simple retroedited style we've seen before, but never this good. The (occasionally) intelligent, but always sincere insight and inner-rap humor with newly invented catechisms of post-hipsterjivejibberish.

Great stuff. Best new schtick in years, I'm just hoping it doesn't wear thin. The real challenge of long-range schtick is keeping it fresh. Goodluck brohans

So I gave my 2 weeks last Thrusday...... bittersweet excited and scared. It's only been 3 years , but hopefully this is a permanent move ... Thanks all

I'm in the championship game in both of my leagues, despite Matthew Stafford doing his level best to #### me over. :moneybag: :banned: :excited: :excited:
 I'm in one final and down 10 with that Stud Shonn Greene left - I should be down 1 but made a bad coaching decision and Blair Walsh sucks a big one

I had lunch with my Dad the other day and afterwards I needed to stop and see a client downtown. We're stopped at an exit ramp and there is this guy begging for money, nothing unusual for where we were at. My Dad see's him, points and says "oh look at that poor guy". Waves him over and give him a ten. I've become too jaded over the years. I love my Dad. Heart of gold. Ever since I was little kid I've watched him give his old clothes, shoes and sometimes even bottles of booze to homeless people. I'm really lucky to have such a great teacher. I need to pay attention more.
 I'm pretty jaded and untrusting too. One time I was approached by a "homeless" guy in an area definitely not known for that stuff. He asked me for money and I said, no. I told him I'll buy you lunch, but I'm not giving you money. We went in and he asked what he could order and I told him anything. His eyes got real big and he ordered about $10 worth of food. He thanked me profusely. Felt pretty good.
I had a homeless guy approach me as I was putting my groceries in my car at whole foods. He asked me for money so he could get something to eat. Instead I offered him two containers of prepared food that was ready to eat. He wouldn't take it, he only wanted money. I told him no, you're saying you want something to eat and I'm giving you food. He just wouldn't take it and went on to the next person. Why not just take it and still get money from some other sucker?

I'm no expert but I would venture to guess many of these homeless folks aren't thinking ahead....

I would like to get my boss a book on Thailand/Cambodia for Christmas. She's going there for 3 weeks in February and will mostly be hiking, etc. I don't know her full itinerary, but I could easily find out.

I'm too lazy to search posts this morning, but am I correct that k4 spent some time in that area a year or so ago? Anyone else been there and have a book/guide they might recommend?
