To think I was a Kaepernick start and a Denis Pitta pick up (which I seriously considered Saturday night but then convinced myself I was just drunk and overanalyzing my team) away from a championship appearance.

Guy I played against tonight had THREE defensive backs on the Titans roster and though I had a pretty large lead, watching Sanchez throw pick after pick after pick was brutal. Guy ended up with 4 INTS on the night, but I'm going to escape with a 205.2 to 198.9 victory. Until the scoring changes come out on Wednesday...I'm sure I'll be on the wrong end of these.

only stopped to eat a sit-down type meal 3 times so far.Once was near Boise at a pizza place that was pretty good.

Then in Fort Collins, CO last night we ate at this place and it was pretty awesome. Had some mac and cheese loaded with bacon, some fried chicken and waffles, some steak & potatoes, etc.

Also went out to this place for breakfast today and it was phenomenal. Had a breakfast pot pie, some french toast, and a tasty beermosa.

Otherwise, it's been mostly fast food. Taco Time in Wyoming. Some Arby's (zooks>hi) in Nebraska. Every hotel offers a free breakfast buffet so had a bit of that along the way. Nothing too exciting. Been tough to find a Starbucks lately too so I've been drinking McD's coffee. It's weak.

I am convinced that I need to buy a gun after reading the liberal rhetoric in this thread. People can believe anything they want but the main stream media propaganda is just sickening. The media in this country needs to go. It is a curse on a free socity. You want to see another civil war? Start taking away the 2nd amendment. The founders were SPOT on when they instructed Americans that the right to bear arms shall NOT be infringed upon. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone with a lick of sense would give this government any trust to protect your rights. You want to go live in a society without a 2nd amendment, you have plenty of choices. You think the events of last Friday are tragic? What about the millions of children that have been aborted? What about the filthy process of late term abortions? Where is the outrage for that blood shedding? I am sick to my stomach as to what has happened to these children. I am in a mode of depression over the death of these innocent children that lost their lives this past Friday. The media blames the guns BUT what about the state of the individual pulling the trigger? How does an individual kill children without mercy? What is the root cause of such EVIL? People go after the guns but what about the filth on TV? The violence in movies and video games? The manner in which people treat each other? The NFL? The MMA? The drones that kill innocent children? The war machines that destroy women and children in the name of stopping terror? We have become a society in LOVE with violence. You give a child a life influenced by violence from the filthy media and then beat people up for 8 plus years about how bleak and depressing our economy is- what do people think is going to happen to these kids? You are willing to toss away your right to defend yourself and trust government because the media is teaching our society about being filthy, violent, porn loving and unmoralistic? People want to talk about the source of the issue- the root cause- let's start with the filthy media and a power grabbing lying government.

I carpool with a co-worker, yesterday I told my son (home from college) he could have the car today and thursday (my co-workers turn to drive)... I get a text at 5am - co-worker had a family emergency won't be in until much later, if at all. No big deal.

So I leave for work about 5:45am, get to work, figure everyone is still asleep, I'll text later.

Get a phone call from the wife,

w:did you drive today?

me:Um yeah, co-worker called out so I had to drive.

w:You told son he could have the car?

me:Well I had to go to work , didn't really have a choice.

w: If you told me I could have made arrangements....

me: Well you noticed the car wasn't there didn't you...

w: Well it was too late by then, son was still sleeping, you should have told me ..... then some other words I pretty much zoned out on. you should have let me know

Yeah I probably could have texted but I forgot but this is not the end of the world obviously.

She's pretty down to earth and normal in the grand scheme of things but every once in awhile though she just comes out of nowhere with this "motherly scolding"/argumentative over small things....

Options left this week are:

Denver - plays Cleveland this week. Might want to save for Week 17 vs KC. Will they be playing for top seed in week 17 or resting?

Indy - at KC. Do I want young QB on road? Chiefs looked like they've packed it in though.

Skins - at PHL. Ditto from above except the game REALLY matters to Skins. Could SKins be looking ahead to Dallas?

Carolina - Raiders come East. Don't really trust the Panthers though.

Aside from Denver, my Week 17 options include Titans hosting Jags and Saints hosting Carolina.

So I could take Denver (vs CLE) and Titans (vs JAX) but right now I'm leaning Indy (@KC) and DEN (vs KC) and double up on the Chiefs.
