GM's thread about nothing (10 Viewers)

I coat the chicken breast in olive oil With salt and pepper and cook it in a pan. I usually butterfly them so they cook evenly. From there you can add veggies or sauce, rice or pasta and have it 100 different ways.

Please note- All you stuckup 30 somethings too busy to take a call will not be getting a card from Uncle cos this year. I suck at keeping addresses. I only could find maybe four or five and one of them was Tanner's Middle school.

Giving this away at a white elephant gift exchange tonight. I forget who around here I stole the idea from, but thank you.
I gave Wilked a tshirt with a pic of me eating piazza on it for a secret Santa gift years ago. I also gave Jethro one of me holding a beer which he "lost".EDIT: That pic is epic btw.
Pizza shirt was one of best ever. For our office white elephant this year I gave a 6 pack of Miller High Life tallboys with this picture framed and autographed with "To my biggest fan. Keep livin' the High Life".
:lmao:

So I before I left for work this morning, I got a floater/flasher in my eyes, it looked like there was a huge kaleidoscope in my vision. It last about 45 minutes. Freaked out for a bit but went to work, I am swamped and will be taking a few days off for Christmas. I had set aside all of today to do 5 peformance reviews that I'm actually a few days late on. Called my eye doc just to get a heads up and he demanded I be seen today. Only problem was that he was booked. He's affiliated with a local chain so the other place by my work didn't have a doctor in today, so I had to go all the way back up by home for an early afternoon appointment. Everything is fine, he said I had an "eye migraine", I guess some blood vessels running to my eye suddenly dilated temporarily and it caused this. So I leave and I can't see #### unless it's more than 4 feet away because my eyes were dilated, and had a headache so took a nap. Got up and my wife has a real migraine, so I had to help with dinner and get the kids to bed. So now I have to stay up all night getting these reviews done. Awesome.
WOW SHUKE THAT IS HORRIBLE. GLAD TO HEAR EVERYTHING IS OK. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR WORK STUFF.
Oh wow, thanks, I really appreciate it.

random but does anyone have any healthy simple chicken marinade recipes? Id appreciate anything.
Just cook it and throw anything you want in there. Pretty simple.
Ive got like 4 pounds of chicken over here so my imagination has run dry :bag:By the comments in here I cant tell some posters like to eat... a lot so was just seeing if anyone had suggestions

Honest response:This is the original crockpot chicken recipe from GM. I've made it. It's good.2 t salt1 T paprika2 t chili powder1 tsp onion powder1 tsp thyme1 t garlic powder1/2 t black pepper1 t cumin1/2 t cayennecombine spices in small bowl. Wash and pat dry drumsticks.rub dryrub into chickenput foil in bottom of crockpot, put chicken on itcook on low 4-6 hours

1-2 lbs. chopped chicken

2 carrots - sliced

2 celery stalks - sliced

1 onion - chopped

2 gloves garlic - diced

chicken broth

2 T soy sauce

1/2 t ginger

cornstarch

1 cup broccoli - chopped

1 cup pea pods

chow mein noodles

brown chicken

mix broth (1 cup), soy sauce, ginger in a bowl

add broth mix, chicken, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic to slow cooker

Cover, cook on low 5 hours or so, adding more broth to cover chicken

add some soy sauce as well in proportion to how much broth you add

mix cornstarch with cold water to thicken

add pea pods and broccoli, cook for 15 minutes on high

(NOTE: consider steaming pea pods and broccoli separately, then adding)

serve over rice with noodles

This is pretty good but I'd do the steaming thing.

Give us a recap.
Not much to tell, really. Just one portly albino in a visor with a nest of uncontrolled hair, one 6'8" gigantic Norse Viking, a demure Italian gal and a 5 month old infant bar hopping around a city in pelting rain searching for the perfect bloody marry. There was one change of clothes, a waitress who thought I was a food critic and a tiny little pepper that brought one of us to our knees. I wish I had taken a picture of Charv hunkered into my front seat. He looked like a white Shaq trying to sit in coach seating. :lmao:

You know what's weird, I think those floaty things are there all the time, but your brain blocks them out. We should get Gatorman in here.Actually what I had was an occular migraine. Totally freaked me out because it wasn't going away. What's crazy is that it looked just like these representations, C-shaped and on the left side.

Ups and downs. Being off the narcotics has been a big change in my opinion, but that leaves her with almost no rescue when it gets bad, especially around that monthly time.
