I am a liberal. Very liberal. And (with some notable exceptions) the only posters dumber and more punchable in the political threads than the Tea Party wingnuts, are the liberals. (Myself included, I guess. Yeah, you've a tougher row to hoe than me. My fellow liberals and I can be unbelievably petty, self-congratulatory, smug, and stupid but rarely worse than that. I've seen how the Keep Christ in Chrismas crowd reacts when you've suggested that the teachings of Christ kind of neatly alight with the secular-humanist values of the lefty Good Government crowd. Not pretty.

The boys stayed at Mom & Dad's Saturday night and since neither of us felt very well, I decided to make Mrs. SLB dinner.
