Some ######## decided to track how much secks his wife gave him over the course of a year by putting different colored dots onto his calendar, before tallying them up. Blue was the regular secks, other colors for other things. The investigation need not be completed, and political pressure has been known to change the minds of prosecutors. I have to say that I'm surprised both at the refusal to file a lesser charge, e.g. manslaughter or even assault, and also at refusing to bring this before a grand jury to get their endorsement (or not) of the charges; the latter is a tactic used for "close" or politically charged cases as a punt for prosecutors, to get out of the responsibility of deciding whether or not to bring charges. I'm not going to press Bob for details as he mourns this, but this just seems like a surprising decision, and an frankly offensive one to the family and friends of the victim under the circumstances.

Probably at this point, no. They now have copies of her living will and medical wishes. But I guess coming in, I could have ignored all that. Just said she didn't have anything that I knew of.

The last gift needs a little explanation. It's a 2 ounce shot glass inscribed with the motto "Down the Hatch". It's a rare individual who can produce two ounce shots, and frankly, it's equally as rare to find a significant other who can handle two ounces every time. So, if s/he ever doesn't feel like handling all two ounces, you can fill up the shot glass and just point to the motto to remind them where it goes. Everybody wins!!!

I appreciate the effort, I really do, but you gotta update your info and at least make sure it is accurate. I know it's been mentioned on here that I live with my fiancee. She's pretty open to jokes and the like, but she's been cheated on in the past and is aware I dated a girl with a yorkie. Given that we've had no issues in the two years or so we've been together it was pretty brutal trying to explain that a few years ago I got a little carried away on a message board, what each reference was about (god bless explaining "two ounces" and the ensuing look of horror), and having to assure her that I honestly didn't know why I thought someone believed me to still be single when the only personal posts I have made on her in the last year or so have been ones about getting married.

We got through it pretty well but she had tossed out everything but the coffee mug (which she thought was funny and wants to keep) and the letter by the time I had even gotten home so I didn't even get to see most of the stuff. Sorry it went to waste as I imagine the items were Chet quality, but my main concern was trying to relieve my fiancee's confusion so I wasn't about to go digging them out. Again, I appreciate the effort and a couple of years ago when I lived alone I'd have had a good laugh at it, but for future warning if you're going to get shticky with these things maybe just make sure you have recent and accurate information. No hard feelings or anything, just a future suggestion.
