GM's thread about nothing (27 Viewers)

So I did my 8 miles this morning (hate this time of year when it doesn't start getting light until 7:15 or so) hurried home and got ready for work. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and that was with answering e-mails.

I head out and see a bunch of trash or something on the main drag right that you need to take to enter our subdivision. Now I just walked by there and this wasn't there. I immediately get pissed because these ####### rednecks are constantly throwing trash out their car windows.

As I get closer, something catches my eye....

I notice a pack of smoke, unopened. So I pull the car over and grab the two grocery bags and throw them in the back of my car. I just got them out and counted them, 50 packs of assorted smokes. All with Tennessee tax stamps.
Inbred Mafia's going to be looking for those. I'd be wary of anyone you come across with extra digits.
This is going to be just like No Country For Old Men, except with fat dudes.and cat shirts :excited:

No Tareytons? Weak.
Yeah sorry GB, no Marlboro Lights either.

:lmao: Band name.
How long does it take to walk 8 miles? Do you do this every day?
Shtick? It takes me 2 hours and I do it almost every day. Some days if I'm pressed for time I only do 4.

6 finger discount?

Thanks again for the condolences, friends. The big day at work--bonus payment day--has finally arrived. :banned: on me today!
Congrats, k4! LONG time coming, I know. Give 'em the finger and walk out the door! And save some :banned: for late June for me!

I just did that check picture taking deposit thing with my phone on a check back from the funeral home.

It was pretty easy, but I was as nervous as GM installing Netflix.

In other news, I am wearing a pink and white shirt with some green stripes and had a coworker tell me that I looked like a watermelon this morning.

Gustershuke - Fair warning - I'm still working to make a weekend in Cincinnati happen. Boss has signed off, wife has reluctantly accepted the idea. You guys still up for it either the weekend before the 15th or the following weekend?

Also, I can convince work to pay for the hotel over the weekend but I wouldn't be able to book a hotel in Ohio. It would need to be my usual Marriott by the airport. Should I just bite the bullet and pay for my own room closer to the city?

Pepper sits on couch watching tv

Pepper: "what's that?"

Bob "a new cat shirt."

Pepper: "no, that" points to plastic sack

Bob : "smokes...lots of 'em"

Pepper: "where'd you get em."

Bob : "at the getting place"

Pepper: "where's that at?"

Bob "none of your damn business. And if you keep running that mouth of yours I'm gonna have to take you to the back and screw ya' "

/end scene.

I just did that check picture taking deposit thing with my phone on a check back from the funeral home.It was pretty easy, but I was as nervous as GM installing Netflix.
Pretty sure when you do that, the check just goes straight to Tre's bourbon fund.

Wait, what? How does this work? I kept my MD bank when I moved to VA because I love them and am lazy. I get very few physical checks anymore, but it's a pain in the ### when I do.

There are people who don't use mobile banking? Other than Tanner and my Grandpa? GB, it's the best thing since TiVo. Just take a picture of the front and back of the check using your phone and WA-LA.

Does every bank do this? Mine is a local (12-ish) branches owned by zillionaires who swear they'll never sell out ( :rolleyes: ). I guess I could ask THEM instead of you.....Just figured you probably owned THIS too :;

Just search your phone to see if your bank has a mobile app. One of the banks I use is a smaller local bank, and they have one.

Very, very few topics I can intelligently weigh in on but CheckTalk is one of 'em. :excited:Mobile Capture still isnt entirely main stream, but most of the larger banks have incorporated it. The institution I work for is reluctant to because our member base has a lotta older folks who are scared of technology. :unsure:Most likely if your bank/CU is that small they don't offer it yet.

The plastic wrapping can be tricky at times. But I have faith you two will be able to figure it out working together.

:lmao: :lmao:I had zero idea what that movie was about going in. I'm yelling at the TV (much to the chagrin of Mrs. SLB) "WHY IS HE TAKING THE BAG!! DUMP THE CASH BEHIND THE SEAT AND TOSS IT?!! EVER HEAR OF EVIDENCE #######??!!!"

Unless you are talking about ATM's or paying bills electronically, I'm not sure what you are talking about.

What is your bank and what kind of phone do you have?
Also, what is your credit card number and SSN?
