GM's thread about nothing (69 Viewers)

How gay am I if I think my immediate problems will be solved by Dwight Howard coming to Houston? #nohomo #dontanswer. #namingmykidpepper

I'm feeling extra creepy tonight. I saw some facebook friends of friends high school girls summer fun albums. So hot.

 :homer:

I said, "I'm having a kid!"

Cosjobs was the first person I told last time. And he said,"uh...great man. That's awesome. Need a beer?"

I admit I don't remember everything I read in here so I wasn't sure if this was new news or not.

And I seem to remember some drunken PMs after you found out about your first <_< ;)

At any rate, congratulations!

Thanks. Truly. Not to be drunk emotional guy, but I'm hanging on by a thread. This thread. Her. Him. Don't care. Just want this to be good in a way opposite of my life so far.
Well, ultimately it's up to you to make that happen, and you seem to be taking the right steps in that direction. Peace and stability seems to be what you and your family need the most, so just keep at it.

Not to be a downer, but the timing (Feb. birth) puts conception awfully close to when you started your job. Is your insurance going to cover this? (don't answer if that's too personal)

No worries

I was wondering about the timing too. Glad to hear you're covered

Congrats Abe.

I'm drunk after going to a street dance in the small town where I grew up. 300 miles with the wife and kids, put the kids to bed at my moms house, went out and got am shut faced. Got a 5 minute lay from the wife. Big day for roboto.

Congrats, Abe! I'm in Stryker's boat...wasn't sure if we knew this already.

FYI, there's TONS of Miller Lite in that boat. :banned:
Nah, hasn't said Anything yet. Was waiting for someone to give me #### about bringing a kid in to the world when I Have so many issues. But I'm very happy and I think I'm on the right track to get things back in order. And I have insurance so I won't be mooching off of any of you good people. With a little YSR curse the kid will skip February and head straight to April...

Your wife should breastfeed to help save even more money...oh wait, I've said too much :oldunsure:

Hot.

Congrats Abe. Looks like you and I can have a race. My wife has her appt tomorrow to get the particulars.

I'd really like to be off for a couple weeks right around March madness.

I'll be in Atlanta/Buckhead 14-17 of August.

Cocktails anyone?
In.
Sweet. I'm staying at the Omni. No car, but they provide shuttle service. Wed. night looks good.
Cool. There's only one Omni in Atlanta, and it's downtown, not in Buckhead. It's connected to CNN. I actually used to work at that hotel, back when Ted Turner was running the show.
Oops, I meant the Intercontinental. I always get those brands mixed up.

Word to your mother.

About three time a year I go to bed without the worryfear that I'm going to wake up to a #### storm of epic proportions. This is one of those times. Like thanksgiving and Christmas I can be sure none of my customers will be calling needing something nor will the bank or vendors be calling looking for money. So I can relax a hair and enjoy myself. It's nice to delay the hornets nest for a few days.

My kids birthday is Friday and she is getting a bicycle. Her sibling will be here in February - wife had her first ultrasound today. I'm healthy and so is my family. I am still in a huge hole that will take years to fill in, but for a little while, tonight, things are okay here. Rest well jimtanners. If I were with you I'd turn down your sheets and put a dove chocolate on your pillow.
Great man. That's awesome. Need a beer?

Gotta go OVER 63.5 on Joey Chestnut for tomorrow, right? 2u I think.
I've got him at 62.5. GL
68 last year? Lock city.
Switching up his style? He could hammer 70 or go under.

This year, expect the champ to be a bit more relaxed, eschewing the bob-and-weave approach hes used in the past.

Im getting older and Im smarter about how I eat, said Chestnut, 29. I wont move around quite so much. In previous years, it felt like I was running. This year, Im a thoughtful Joey Chestnut.

Is there anyone that can seriously challenge him? I'm looking at taking 'the field' +1250.

We're in KC visiting friends. The boys are with us so we got a hotel room for the four of us. Despite me being drunhigh, and her sober, Mrs. SLB was really frisky and the boys were sleeping in the bed right next to us. I think she wanted to LHOTP. :oldunsure:

Thankfully my GB picked them up this morning so I could perform my husbandly duties. That's a good friend right there.
