GM's thread about nothing (28 Viewers)

We're in KC visiting friends. The boys are with us so we got a hotel room for the four of us. Despite me being drunhigh, and her sober, Mrs. SLB was really frisky and the boys were sleeping in the bed right next to us. I think she wanted to LHOTP. :oldunsure:

Thankfully my GB picked them up this morning so I could perform my husbandly duties. That's a good friend right there.
Little House on the Prarie?

Pa was plowing all the time with kids just feet away. It was a more wholesome time for sure.

It was always a little awkward back in the soddie when Pa pulled out and shot his wad all over Ma's face.

Pretty sure

A half pint?

We haven't seen GB's daughter in a couple of years. When Cal saw her last night he says "well look at you! You've gotten so big!"

She'll be a freshman in college in a couple of months.

Congrats Abe. Looks like you and I can have a race. My wife has her appt tomorrow to get the particulars.

I'd really like to be off for a couple weeks right around March madness.
Congrats

I still don't get it.

I bet on the field and chestnut under 63.5

Just seems like he'll slow down at some point

Not loving my chances looking at the field so far :oldunsure:

Most of us are smart enough to follow. Even those of us who are still married. Maybe even those of us who have done it more than once. Stu at least. I won't speak for GM. [/smoo]
I don't get it.

Having just watched Seasons 3 and 4 of Wires, it occurs to me...

The GMTAN is the FFA's version of Hamsterdam.
BOOMYellow tops
We should have a Favorite Touts from The Wire draft.
Was googling and found this: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/used-subtitles-to-watch-the-wire-the-writer-says-thats-just-criminal-1773087.html

My girlfriend needs the subtitles on to follow it - hell, sometimes I need them and I'm a lot quicker on the lingo pickup than she is - and yeah, I've discovered the same thing.

EDIT- I was presuming the article covered this, but maybe I was wrong. Some of the subtitles are completely botched, hilariously so.
I need the subtitles. :bag:

And that writer sounds like a real doooosh canoe.

Summary of recent events.... Ex wives suck. Glad I don't have one
Actually a big fan of mine. Like her much more now than I did when we were married. Hell, I even invited her to join us at a pool party today.

I tried out this Blitzen Trapper and gave up after some song called "Woof" something or other. That was pretty bad. Some of the other songs were okayish.

Just rocked out to the live version of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain." Now THAT'S a song.

keeping your enemies closer?
The last few days have been pretty taxing for me and my wife. My sister and mother routinely gang up on us and lash out on emails, but this time, it got incredibly nasty and involved my kids. My ex-wife caught wind of it and jumped in to defend us in a very respectful and heartfelt manner. I thought that was very nice.

However, I have been disowned by my mother, so...yeah. Your move, world.

Word to your mother.

About three time a year I go to bed without the worryfear that I'm going to wake up to a #### storm of epic proportions. This is one of those times. Like thanksgiving and Christmas I can be sure none of my customers will be calling needing something nor will the bank or vendors be calling looking for money. So I can relax a hair and enjoy myself. It's nice to delay the hornets nest for a few days.

My kids birthday is Friday and she is getting a bicycle. Her sibling will be here in February - wife had her first ultrasound today. I'm healthy and so is my family. I am still in a huge hole that will take years to fill in, but for a little while, tonight, things are okay here. Rest well jimtanners. If I were with you I'd turn down your sheets and put a dove chocolate on your pillow.
Great man. That's awesome. Need a beer?
i love that you actually copies and pasted that and didn't type it
:lmao:

I watched one Blitzen Trapper vid. Starts off with a dude that looks like Finn from the Sopranos playing a mandolin. That was enough for me to stop watching.

I've seen highlights of the hot-dog eating contest before, and that was enough to make me feel like vomiting. No way I'm watching that.

Sorry buddy. What exactly are you doing to piss them off?

Getting ready to head downtown with my son. He has a Reds kids club autograph session with Mat Latos at the Reds HOF, then we're going to figure out something to do, then go to Reds game and watch fireworks afterwards.

Sounds pretty sweet for an 8 year old, right? I think I've spoiled him because he doesn't seem very excited about autograph thing since he got Latos's autograph last year.
I'll be at the game tonight with some friends, see you there
Yea, great seeing you.

James Tanner [redman]

I like the ring of it. Now I just gotta find a woman of low moral standards who hasn't had her tubes tied (not to mention make one of make my Y chromosome swimmers grab the brass ring first).
