Anybody here have experience and or tips on selling a used high end wrist watch? I inherited one years ago and love it, but I never wear it anymore. Never sold anything on Ebay, but am open to it. I don't think a pawn shop is right for this, is it? Thoughts?

www.watchuseek.com has an active buying/selling forum although, like eBay, a brand new person selling a high-end item is going to raise some flags. Take a look around there though to get an idea of what you're looking at.Out of curiosity, what's the watch?

No pawn shops. Ebay is a great secondary market for high-end time pieces, there are other places out there as well. I think Watchcrowd has some avenues also, there are many outlets for these. If you find a local jeweler who deals in used Rolexs/Breitlings/Etc, you might get a fair price from them as well.

Kinda nervous about selling it. I love it, but it's just not me. I get worried when I wear it (drunken idiot worry; not downtown Memphis worry) and if I leave it to my kids, well...I have to choose. If I got a fair price, I could put that money in their college funds. Or snort it.

Use the money on a couple more strip club visits with Uni.

When we went to the first one, I told him I was going to the store first. He asked me why and I said I am against paying out of service fees for ATM withdrawals, so I bought a couple of beers and got cash back. He was aghast that I would only roll in there with the $40 they allowed me to take out at the store. I assured him we would have to work very hard to spend more than $40 at the Acrop. Of course, that was long before the liquor made Chase propose to a stripper named Sin and well before he forgot where his brother lived.

He and I should NEVER be allowed in a nudie bar together.

After GM and I make a fortune opening up a Top Golf in Portland I was hoping to start a strip club with GB Homer in the Hamptons.

Cal was at a friend's house yesterday evening, came home, got a snack, then couldn't find his retainer. Swears up and down he had it in on the way home and he set it on the table by the couch. We tear the house apart last night and again this morning. Nothing. Call friend's house, nothing. Friend's Mom just called, he left it there. I swear to Ra I feel like I'm living with 3 Alztheimers patients some times. It's like they are all doing some shtick acting like Dory from Finding Nemo trying to drive me insane.

Have tried B vitamins (Aussies swear by this--doesn't work), Off, fans, etc. I need help or Mr. krista and I will be separating as I can't take this. Not kidding. I'm even getting bites on my face.

ETA: you can work in a "gimmick" where every episode ends with you polishing off a bottle of wine, and trying to recount your day to Oliver when he comes home from work.

I'll get some of that the next time in the US. Which might be much sooner than I thought. I've also been researching and will get some of the metofluthrin products, both the strips and the dorky thing you clip to your clothing (though don't know how to deal with the sleeping issue). I have to engage in an all-out war or this is going to end quickly.
