The other night when I walked to the bar I had my son come and pick me up.

I thought he'd be alone when he showed up but he has is female friend with him...not his girlfriend but this chick he dated in HS for a while. I guess they're just platonic. Whatever.

So I feel like being a gentleman and head towards the rear passenger door. Female friend is getting out of the front passenger door and sees me heading for the back seat.

She said "Wait! There's another girl back there!" I couldn't see because it was dark and the windows are tinted. I already had the door halfway open and all I saw was a 18-19 year old blonde in some sort of plaid skirt.

I jumped back in mock horror and said "Oh no! Don't let the Junior High teacher anywhere near underage girls!"

I wasn't even drunk.

That was it. I rode in the front. It was like a 4 minute ride. Kid dropped me off and they went to the movies. Or at least that was there story.

So many of my "personal stories" start out with bars and girls in plaid skirts.

Also, unless I missed it earlier, Netflix now has There Will Be Blood. Watched it this afternoon. Good movie overall despite PTA's dooshiness. It was beautiful to look at, but mainly because Daniel Day-Lewis is simply amazing at what he does. I mean, a once in a generation kind of actor.
