GM's thread about nothing (26 Viewers)

No TV no video games before school has stuck. So has "no TV Tuesday". Considering expanding my power.
No TV before school is interesting.

Video Game Rule = 1 hour a day. He has his hour. He decides when he gets to use it and what he wants to play. Knowing this gives a sense of fairness to it, to the point that he won't play more than an hour if I forget he already played, i.e. he tells me if his mother let him play earlier in the day.

What do Shredder and Cal do in the morning with no cartoons? Really considering this...
Read books, clean their rooms, play outside. I ####ed up my edumication on many, many, levels. I'm not letting that happen to my boys.

Announce: Bentley and I are squaring off this week in Bentley League. My team rules, his team drools.
STRAP IN, INTERNET!
:lmao:
:lmao: :lmao:

Bentley, we'll miss you by a couple of days. :kicksrock: Enjoy your time there!

BTW, we had a random conversation about flag football this morning and I asked Romo if he had ever seen the GM picture. He hadn't, so I showed him and I swear I thought he was going to stroke out. :lmao:
"You should call Gm and challenge his team to a game...I bet we could beat them..."

I need to get back into Wires. Petered out a few episodes into season three and never took it back up.
I can send you YSR's copy... except you don't have a permanent address. Maybe the shelter will hold it for you.
:lmao:

I have a hotel booked in Atlanta for six weeks. And I do have an address here;it's just that there is not mail service. It's "Puente los Dardanelos, 1 cuadra al oeste, calle el Almendro, Granada, Granada, Nicaragua".

I'd probably have as much luck getting it to you by addressing it to:

Crazy Indecisive Cat Gringa

Love WatchESPN.com.

Laying around watching Bowling Green vs Kent State is how a Saturday afternoon should be spent.
Do they show real games too?
Sorry, they're all out of Bakersfield Community College games.
State Champs, itch.
Faxing Romo's ricin your way. Just sprinkle it on your dentures.
Here you go.

Since I'm sure no one else is watching the vols game I will relay what is happening, which is something I have never seen before. The western Kentucky hilltoppers have turned the ball over on each of their last five offensive plays in the first quarter.

Who is the Vols punter? A kid from the HS down the street from where I teach punted for them a couple of seasons ago. Matt Darr. Is he still their punter?

Michael pallardy. Darr wasn't bad. Surely got a lot of work at that position.

Knight's Inn at I-85 and Indian Trail FTW.

krista, I think you guys need a few days weeks at Albert Oaks to decompress, and, you know, just figure stuff out.
dude, she said she's making progress on the weight loss in Nica. lay off.
:lmao:

There have been discussions about checking out Austin as a place to live, via AO.
I suspect your first summer in Austin would be your last, which is why I suggested you live in Portland from Easter until Labor Day. You guys could buy a food truck for Mr. krista, and drive it back and forth.

G-marco, I think I'm going to skip my wife's no-alcohol company picnic. Tough call I know. Leaving here in about an hour and a half.
Get high and laugh at everyone trying to pretend to have a good time.
Last year I was incapictated but the year before that I brought my own premixed bottles of water with vodka in them. :bag:

The kids love it though. They have face painters, a magician, a piniata and stuff.

I think that's the QB's girlfriend, isn't it?

Well yeah.

Started The Wires a couple of days ago. Just watched Season 1, Ep 10. #### just got real.

The fun starts when Omar starts getting involved for reals, but by S1E10 it's on. :football:
Yeah... so you, uh, finished with Wires now?
Yes. Girlfriend got so into it after first griping about how I had forced her to watch it that she's watched parts of it three times.

I'll send it back. Please PM me your address.
I'd be happy to have you pay it forward if someone else here would like to watch it. I feel like Guster and Thorn come to mind from when I originally offered.
Tre hooked me up, so Thorn can call dibs. Thanks for remembering though!

I've got a simple rule I started a few months ago that has worked incredibly well.

However long he reads he can then match with a video game. He reads for 30 minutes, he plays for 30 minutes. No reading? No playing.

As a result, he's started to just read for fun on his own after just a few months.

Since I'm sure no one else is watching the vols game I will relay what is happening, which is something I have never seen before. The western Kentucky hilltoppers have turned the ball over on each of their last five offensive plays in the first quarter.
And somehow the Vols still went into the half up only 31-17?

I have a simple rule about not having children.

In Buckhead, which my friend Jane describes as "ultra-douchey", but I needed a pet-friendly hotel in a convenient location.
