Sorry for delay; have not had electricity most of the morning.

Shot video #2 - this time with wine (and Julio on the left).
Barefoot Pinot Grigio?

Guessing you didn't buy the wine?
I'm guessing you don't bring expensive wine to a party where you don't know everybody. Might make you too much of a target. Same reason she brought the utility-grade coke.
Andy always has wine just for me since everyone else drinks the local beer. I don't have the heart to tell him it's no good, and it's not like Lafite Rothschild is freely flowing anywhere around here anyway.

As for cocaine, Andy said a regular amount of coke (have no idea what that means) costs 200 cordobas, which is about $8. Mr. krista was so amazed that I thought he might take it up on the spot. Weed, on the other hand, is extremely expensive and harder to find (GM>hi).

Jesus, am I going to have to start watching Breaking Bad to stay in this thread? I'm only through two seasons of Wires, for chrissakes. :(
Season 2 was my 2nd favorite so far. Season 3 wasn't very good. So far, I think season 4 is meh.
Expire in flames
Did I do something to upset you?
Did you read your post where you disparaged not one, but two seasons of the wire?
Let me clarify because I think you are right, my comments were disparaging. Season 1 and 2 were some of the best TV I've ever seen. I was disappointed in Season 3. There were some great episodes for sure and I'd rather watch a mediocre Wires than just about anything else. I think a lot of disappointment centers around what happened to one of my favorite characters. So that's a me problem.

I've only gotten through 2 episodes of Season 4 and I'm not yet riveted. I don't care for Carcetti (sp?). But his character is interesting and I think the mayoral race is good watching. The outburst by the state Senator was some of the best TV I've ever seen.

But you're right, I'm wrong and I'm sorry.

Season 3 is riveting. The Stringer/Avon beef with Omar and Brother Mouzone thrown in plus Hamsterdam and Bunny Fn Colvin. You're insane.

Sister is furious with me for telling my parents about her boyfriend getting arrested for DUI and Domestic Battery while they were in Nevada. I think in retrospect, I should have asked her about it first, but since we don't really have much of a relationship anymore, I went to my parents out of concern. That makes me a rat, right? My ex BIL is the one who told me about it. He thinks this guy is a crook (he's been in trouble with the law before) and has some sort of police ticker set up on his computer that alerts him if this guy lands in jail. Paranoid? I suppose, but then again, his sons are exposed to this guy anytime they are with my sister, so I think he's concerned too.

Anyhow, my sister swears that this incident is overblown and not at all a 'Domestic Battery' situation. She and her boyfriend were drinking all day long by the pool at a casino in Wendover, NV. They drove to get some pizza. They argued in the parking lot over what kind of pizza to get. He grabbed her by the arm and 'put her' into the car. An off duty police officer saw this, radioed it in and had him arrested for Domestic Battery and DUI. He spent some time in jail, posted $4,600 in bail and got out. But his legal woes caused them to stay down there longer than they had planned. This caused my sister to miss more work than she had vacation time. She got fired upon her return.

I should not get involved, but reading the words "Domestic Battery" with regards to your little sister is unsettling.

The incident is not overblown. She's acting like a typical battered woman. You are right here.

Also, is it bad that I laughed that they argued over what kind of pizza to get?

The guy has a hair trigger temper and gets in fights like he's a washed up, booze guzzling Nicaraguan boxer. He'd pulverize me in seconds. He also has collects guns, swords and knives. Can't wait for our next family dinner.

Tanner links are great. I know there are hundreds of places to find these kind of things, but like a terrific sommelier, Officer Malloy bring the finest selections from the webz.

You are right to get involved. Seems like a bad situation for your nephews.

Maybe you should set her up with me. Think of the hijinks we'd enjoy at family gatherings. Though I would request TRE be around at all times in case this crazy boyfriend shows up.

Also, whenever I read your posts now I immediately start humming an Elton John song without even realizing it. For this post it was "Tiny Dancer".

Am I the only one that doesn't understand the Calvin Johnson/ P Diddy commercials? Are they supposed to be the same person? What the hell is going on there?

I just imagine Diddy sitting in his big ### crib drinking his crappie vodka thinking, "Hm...it's been a while since anyone thought I was important....let me find an athlete to do something with for no apparent reason other than to reinforce my 'brand.' Is KD available? Lebron? Melo? Hm... who is a big time NFL'er that will take my call...hm....Calvin Johnson maybe?"

Oh, I'd much rather you date her than this guy....but I think she's having her rock-star, action figure phase. Can you jump out of a helicopter and ski down a cliff?

Whoa. Not 3 minutes ago, I was shaking hands and talking to a guy who played at Georgia Tech with Calvin Johnson. What are the odds?

If only we knew someone who just became best friends with a washed up, booze guzzling, cocaine snorting, Nicaraguan boxer. I bet we could get them both together for a nice sit down. They could compare knifes.
