GM's thread about nothing (29 Viewers)

If you can't trust the word of a guy tracking his ex-wife's boyfriend's daily police interactions, who can you trust?
Yeah, that's a little weird. But I suppose he has two reasons to worry.
Don't take that wrong. I think you probably did the right thing, even if your sister hates you forever for it. I've had to be on the wrong end of that one on more than one occasion with my own sister.

Sister is furious with me for telling my parents about her boyfriend getting arrested for DUI and Domestic Battery while they were in Nevada. I think in retrospect, I should have asked her about it first, but since we don't really have much of a relationship anymore, I went to my parents out of concern. That makes me a rat, right? My ex BIL is the one who told me about it. He thinks this guy is a crook (he's been in trouble with the law before) and has some sort of police ticker set up on his computer that alerts him if this guy lands in jail. Paranoid? I suppose, but then again, his sons are exposed to this guy anytime they are with my sister, so I think he's concerned too.

Anyhow, my sister swears that this incident is overblown and not at all a 'Domestic Battery' situation. She and her boyfriend were drinking all day long by the pool at a casino in Wendover, NV. They drove to get some pizza. They argued in the parking lot over what kind of pizza to get. He grabbed her by the arm and 'put her' into the car. An off duty police officer saw this, radioed it in and had him arrested for Domestic Battery and DUI. He spent some time in jail, posted $4,600 in bail and got out. But his legal woes caused them to stay down there longer than they had planned. This caused my sister to miss more work than she had vacation time. She got fired upon her return.

I should not get involved, but reading the words "Domestic Battery" with regards to your little sister is unsettling.
The incident is not overblown. She's acting like a typical battered woman. You are right here.

Also, is it bad that I laughed that they argued over what kind of pizza to get?
The guy has a hair trigger temper and gets in fights like he's a washed up, booze guzzling Nicaraguan boxer. He'd pulverize me in seconds. He also has collects guns, swords and knives. Can't wait for our next family dinner.

Though these days we usually argue directly rather than my telling mom and dad on her.

She hated me before this. You'd think I told her Season 2 of Wires was better than Season 3 the way she hates me.

If only we knew someone who just became best friends with a washed up, booze guzzling, cocaine snorting, Nicaraguan boxer. I bet we could get them both together for a nice sit down. They could compare knifes.
And it would only cost you an airline ticket and an iphone.

Did he leave a mark on her arm "putting her back"?

I don't know. If he did, it's not being disclosed. He's going to have to go back to Nevada at some point to deal with whatever charges remain against him. Sister is convinced they will all be dropped. Not so sure they 'drop' DUIs these days.

They won't drop a DUI unless there's a technical problem with how the BAC was measured.

Also, they don't drop domestic violence issues like they used to just because the woman refuses to press charges, and doubly so if there's physical evidence to support the charge and/or an independent witness, and here they might have both.

If I was your ex-BIL, I'd consider increasing my custodial rights based upon this incident if possible.

"But your honor, when they calculated my BAC, they didn't account for the '***** won't let me have anchovies' factor."

He's a vegetarian, but likes pepperoni on his pizza. I don't get it either.
He likes to go 200 MPH, collects swords and guns, climbs The Murderhorn in his spare time, smokes Walt White's blue ice on the weekends, puts his shvantz inside a girl with a detailed history of making poor decisions with guys who do drugs, and he's afraid of a cheeseburger?

You left out the fact that he's Facebook friends with Uni's Sin PDX. :lmao: Oh, what a small, weird little world....

A man's got to know his limitations.

I like pepperoni, but I don't think chicken gets enough love as a primary meat topping.
I'm good with any meat option on the pizza, but mark me down for spicy Italian sausage as #1.
Sausage is ####### delicious.

That said, I'm not a big fan of the meat lover's pizza. Or some kind of "combo" with like 30 things on it. There is an ideal, magical number of toppings on a pizza, and it is three.

Agreed. Pepperoni, Sausage and some sort of banana pepper for me. Pure heaven.

No olives or mushrooms, though.

I mailed Bob's check today that Thorn sent me. Apparently Bob lives in something called "Earth City". :lmao: I put "Sounds made up" on the envelope. Hope the mailman has a sense of humor.

Most people don't realize that when you pack a bunch of toppings on a pizza it just doesn't cook right.

GM might want to let Max Power know you can also order a pizza half and half. Might keep him out of lockup next time.
