GM's thread about nothing (4 Viewers)

Who is the RB who might never play again? I thought I was on top of all the injury news but obviously not.
I think he means The Michael James who is inactive on Sundays lately for the 49ers.
Oh; someone started him, eh. I have MNF DVRed but haven't watched it yet, so I was thinking that Richardson/Mathews/Woodhead suffered some horrific injury. Anyway, sorry to go all Shark Pool for a second.

Is it weird that as soon as I see something at work cat-related I think "Oooh I have to post this for Tanner?"

Somehow you've made liking cats slightly less uncool.
Unpossible.

Nobody really liked cats until I came along.
Most of us still don't like cats.
You're just in denial. Tell me more.

The kids have reached the age where they know their mom and I have sex (LOOK AT ME!) but wish/pretend we didn't. My stepson's room is directly above ours and the other night we heard three distinct thumps on his floor right after. We were :lmao:  :lmao: for about 10 minutes.

Then the next night after dinner, my wife starts asking him why he was thumping his floor, just to make him REALLY uncomfortable. :D

Oildale Meat Raffle (2-4, 939.83 points) beat Es pipí? (2-4, 899.92 points) 144.15 - 119.31, led by Justin Blackmon with 38.00 points and Keenan Allen who scored 30.70. Oildale Meat Raffle came into the Sunday games already in front 54.85 - 5.45. They lost the handle after the early Sunday games and trailed 97.71 - 68.65. However, Oildale Meat Raffle pulled out the victory with a comeback on Monday night.

A few more wins and I'll actually think about paying my $12.50

That's awesome. Credit to your wife for that.

Yeah, we don't really do "breaking FF news" in this league. Too tedious.

Football nerdiness:

On Sunday I took my kids to the NE game. My 6 year old Will was almost crying after the Brady interception with 2 minutes and change to go. I am giving him a hug and people are streaming out of the stadium.

My son Will, after the boneheaded interception by Brady "Why are so many people leaving?"

Me "They are mad about the game and going to their cars. They think they are going to beat traffic."

Will "I am not ready to go. I don't think they can win though"

Me "I don't think so either, but we stay to the end and root for our team. They might get the ball back."

Will "If they get the ball back, they better throw it to Julian Edelman in the middle and Kembrell Thompkins on the sidelines."

Me- 5 minutes later- Whoah.

Since Commishololololol and TF are terrible co-owners and won't post ####. How did the Ice Nachos do?
Elderly ###### AIDs (5-1, 1,072.88 points) leaps into the top spot in the league after beating Ice Bags & Nachos (fifth place, 4-2, 906.77 points) 142.40 - 133.89. Down by 5.29 points on Monday night, Elderly ###### AIDs picked up 13.80 to secure the win. They were led by LeSean McCoy who got 28.35 points while Sam Bradford scored 26.33. Having won their last five straight, Elderly ###### AIDs has become a very tough matchup. Brandon Weeden led Ice Bags & Nachos with 27.68 points while Josh Gordon racked up 24.85. What If
  • Elderly ###### AIDs would be 5-1 if they played Ice Bags & Nachos every week.

  • Had they played each other last week, Elderly ###### AIDs would have defeated Ice Bags & Nachos 181.68 - 126.38.
  • Elderly ###### AIDs would be 5-0 if they played the same schedule as Ice Bags & Nachos.

Something like "you know why". Then his sister got involved and things got more funny/uncomfortable as he tried to make her understand what we were talking about without actually saying it.

My other choices are: Ivory, Bradshaw, LaRod Stephens-Howling and Knile Davis. Have been hoping James would return some kicks.

He did have 4 carries and one kick return the week prior.

Yeah not much could have overcome that ### whoopin. We gotta regroup this week and come back strong.

Smart people, please advise as to whether I could reasonably get by with only 10 Mbps download speed on my internet. This is what DirecTV offers. We tried to set up Comcast today, where we can get 20 Mbps or 40 Mbps, but as it turns out, they are still Comcast. Is 10 Mbps enough for reasonable service?

10 MB/S is plenty fast. Should be fine.

As long as you aren't planning on streaming HD video it should be just fine. How is DTV getting service to you? Is it through at&t? DSL?

:( I don't know. It's just something called "Direcpath Titanium". It says on the brochure (part of the overall DirecTV brochure) that you can watch HD videos on it.

I think I'd do dial-up if I had to just to avoid Comcast at this point anyway. Most infuriating company on the planet.

Cursory search shows it's likely a cable internet company so you should be ok. And Comcast is not too bad anymore, at least in my experiences lately in Chicago.

Although keeping up with this thread and the FFA in general will tax you the most (unless you're designing skyscrapers and e-mailing the CAD drawings out to others for comment), yes, 10 mbps will be fine for just about anything. Also, DirecTV will probably make its service faster soon, from what I'm hearing.
