GM's thread about nothing (82 Viewers)

just received another email for a different Fuller

Hi Dan- I wanted to see if you were interested in coming over on Sunday 11/3 to celebrate your Dads birthday?

Thought we could hang out at our place and then have dinner at our house or head out to eat.

Hope all is well:)

so as usual I replied,

not cool bringing up my dad's birthday since he's been dead since '82. Now I'm just sitting here in the fetal position crying hysterically (don't ask how I could be typing this if that were true. just go with it)
just kidding. Well not about the part about dad being dead, but about the crying and stuff. Also, I'm pretty sure that you've emailed the wrong Dan Fuller, since my dad's b-day was in April and because of the whole dead thing.
now that I think about it, what will you be having to eat at this get together? I may be interested in attending.
:lmao: so awesome

Sorry about your dad.
oh, so you're the one who killed him?

I would use that line as a kid when people said that. I don't think anyone ever knew how to respond.

Speaking of sending wacky emails...

As some of you know about a month ago my GB Jim started renting a room from my older brother, Darren.

This Saturday my whole family is getting together at Darren's to celebrate the Sep/Oct birthdays (me, my niece, my mom). There's been a big email chain going on between my brothers, sister, and my mom about when to get together and what to bring.

After about the 14th email I replied all with "Can't make it on Saturday. I'm going over to my friend Jim's place to hang out."

My mom called me about 30 minutes later a little upset that I wasn't going to participate in our birthday dinner. :lmao:

It could have been me. Was he one of the Japs on Okinawa?

It WAS you!!!

Actually it was the cancer. I've been hating the cancer since before it was cool. :hipster:

I wasn't going to say anything, because I didn't want to upset my good buddy Bob Sacamano but since it came out in a Woz thread of all places...

My wife had her IUD removed this morning. We're not going to be trying exactly but we won't be preventing either... so :oldunsure:

We haven't been married very long but I told her I'm closing up shop at 40, so she's got just over a year. Kinda nervous... might need to start faking it. Also convinced karma will bless me with a daughter.

This is a good thing though, right GM?

Call it whatever you want to, but you're trying.

Yeah, just not timing cycles or taking temperatures or whatever. We'll keep doing what we're doing and see what happens. #goodswimmers

I used to get emails to the hotmail address of my firstlast name that were clearly intended for someone with the same name that lived in Wales. I would reply all explaining they had the wrong person but it never seemed to quit. I would get pictures of a family members college graduation and pictures of birthday parties. The last one I got was a reminder to let the dog out before i left for the train station. I haven't checked my Hotmail account in some time (because, it's hotmail...amiright?) but I imagine there are some other messages in there from the family.

Why would that upset me? Smoo's the one imposing quotas on reproduction.

fwiw: This is exactly what we did. Quit preventing because biological clocks were ticking. If it happens, it happens. If not, it wasn't meant to be. All that jazz.

One shot. Hole in one. No practice swings on the tee box. No drives into the rough. No night putting.

I hate "complaining" about that, 'cause I know there are people like ahrn who try forever, to the point that it's no longer fun. And I'll definitely take my experience over his. But COME ON, man!

Only bright spot in my life right now, GB. 3 healthy, happy kids that make me smile...even the one with female parts.

Plus, with older brothers who will be big and strong enough* to intimidate even the most brazen 16-year old rapey guy, we can relax a little when our girls enter prom season...or as Homer calls is, "the most wonderful time of the year"

*yeah, that includes the potentially gay one. He's huge. And he ain't afraid of contact.**

**Not THAT kind of contact. :oldunsure:

We're going to try for a boy next time around, so I've actually been researching how to make that happen. I am really enjoying having a girl (more so than I ever imagined), so I would be fine with having two of them. But a boy would also be a nice addition.

I thought you were the main one saying I was a dumb ### (actually true) for escaping prison free and clear only to sell myself back into slavery. Or some other metaphor that probably made more sense.

I believe the only "real" way to skew the odds is the point in your ovulation that Romo tries to throw the TD. I think the Y chromosome bearing little dudes die sooner but swim faster so later in your ovulation period is better for boys. Earlier in the ovulation favors the slower swimming longer lasting Xs.

Either that or the other way around but you get the gist.

Don't have an orgasm. :coffee:

Is this a wives tale, or not? Some women swear by taking a dose of cough medicine before sex. Why in the world? Well, experts say that cough medicines that contain the ingredient guaifenesin can help to thin mucus membranes in the cervix, helping those little swimmers to get through. Many women actively take cough medicine as an over-the-counter remedy to help with their cervical mucus to get them pregnant faster, and now perhaps it may work better to conceive the baby boy you’ve been longing for.

Eat Like A Man
No, really. For some reason, boy sperm prefer alkaline environments, which means environments that are less acidic. So, to increase alkalinity, experts recommend eating more red meat, salty foods and soda. So, go ahead and have a big meal, girl! It’s all for the sake of baby!

Say Good Bye To Missionary Sex
So it’s time to say good-bye to the missionary position – at least for now! Try a position that will allow deeper penetration, such as “standing sex,” you on top, or on all fours. The basics of this? Deeper penetration will “deposit” those little sperm guys closer to the uterus, giving them far less distance to travel and a better chance of “winning!”

A what?
Yeah, I dunno. Supposed to be something women enjoy, but I've never seen one up close or personal. Well, not because of anything I was doing or not doing.

You want her to have sex with me?
She could have sex with both of us and achieve the same results. :hifive:

Romo, sorry. Don't beat me up. All in good fun. :oldunsure:
