The gal that is spearheading this whole thing against this came up to me shook my hand and very enthusiastically said "I"M GALD YOU ARE HERE TONIGHT!". I smiled, shook her hand, that was it. She turns to me and says "from your body language, I can tell you hate her". Which is true. Then she says something about how I have big hands (I don't) and Mrs. SLB is so lucky. Sad thing is I've been in such a bad mood I let it go.

So tomorrow morning I'm heading down to the cabin with my BFF's and we're going to tie one on. #### it.

I REALLY like Anne Allred almost as much as I like Virginia Kerr. Wait though, what is this you were protesting about? I need to check the paper and see if I should care about this.

They want to put 40 ACRES of HUD apartments in by my house. Plus they want to make our main drag into a thoroughfare. Their study showed about 30,000 cars a day extra in and around the neighborhood. #### that noise. I moved out of north STL for a reason.

My subdivision is very diverse in that there are single family attached condos, and s/m/l houses. Build something like that, fine. Good news is that I'll keep about 60% of the woods behind my house either way. I gambled as much but I knew the slope of the land and the creek would be some major obstacles and there are hundreds of easily developed flat land around here.

I'm really not all that worried because there is a lot of land already designated for this type of thing that has been sitting for years. My personal opinion is that the City is delusional and doesn't read any studies. People are moving closer to the city, not farther away. Plus we have so much commercial, everything you could want, 4 miles away, on both sides of us, I can't imagine what company would even want to build there. I don't know. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Fun note:

Look at the bright side. I bet you find an extra $4-5 bucks a month on your walks, with all the new, careless rubes moving in.

I'm sitting here trying to work and I can see their stupid orange Altima parked in front of our house and it's pissing me off. Ask them for a sticker. They used to come to my house all the time. I finally asked if there was a way to get them to stop. The guy put a little sticker at the bottom of my door. They never came back. Of course, I'm going to hell.

I didn't mention they were 5 black women and this is an extremely conservative area of metro Atlanta. I'm surprised the cops didn't have them laid out on the hood of the squad car.

Yeah, I am. I don't think Maryland will win - they're still adjusting to losing their presumptive starting PG last week wit a broken foot - and UCONN is most likely better anyway. But I do want to see them with an otherwise fully-loaded roster for the first time under Turgeon.

Wells & Faust are the "knowns" and the two best players. I assume they will do most of the ball handling. I'm guessing Jake Leyman (surfer dude), Evan Sczykscmzyv (transfer from Michigan), and Shaq Cleare will be the other starters.

Big Charles Mitchell will probably play a lot at the 4/5. Not sure who else is going to log minutes.

The two freshmen are Damonte Dodd - a 6'9" jumping jack with no clue what he's doing - and Roddy Peters, a 6'3" G who was this year's prized recruit.
