But a car just pulled up in front of our house and 5 of these ####### #####es got out and started banging on doors. Why isn't this illegal?? I didn't invite you onto my property so you're basically trespassing. Everyone in this neighborhood is over 80 and Southern Baptists so you're not going to convert anyone. Get ####### lost. I'm sitting here trying to work and I can see their stupid orange Altima parked in front of our house and it's pissing me off. I'm going to call the cops and tell them it's been there for a week and have it towed. ####### #######s.

They used to do this to me and I am too nice to shout and get angry at them, so Just I just started answering the door naked. It was very effective.

Here (in New Orleans) it technically is illegal if you don't have a permit from the city. We got an email from the local PD saying to ask any "solicitor" for a permit and if they don't have them to call the cops. This came after some criminals were doing this to determine who was/was not home.

As for Prez, one of the things I like best about Season 4 is that they really drew out some characters like Prez (could name several others, too) and made them more complex and complete characters, or looked at another way they showed their growth and development as people. Those guys weren't portrayed as static, which I loved.

As I think about it, she wasn't one I initially had in mind but I really like how they've developed Kyma (Kima?) in this season as well. She seemed a bit too perfect at first, and I like seeing her failings in this season.

You can see me in the back right at the 34 second mark and my reaction to the many knuckle dragging red necks there. It isn't because of the gal to my right, the neighbor that likes to ply me with whiskey, even though it appears so. It's possibly a "why does everybody look to me for answers" look though.

I REALLY like Anne Allred almost as much as I like Virginia Kerr. Wait though, what is this you were protesting about? I need to check the paper and see if I should care about this.

They want to put 40 ACRES of HUD apartments in by my house. Plus they want to make our main drag into a thoroughfare. Their study showed about 30,000 cars a day extra in and around the neighborhood. #### that noise. I moved out of north STL for a reason.

My subdivision is very diverse in that there are single family attached condos, and s/m/l houses. Build something like that, fine. Good news is that I'll keep about 60% of the woods behind my house either way. I gambled as much but I knew the slope of the land and the creek would be some major obstacles and there are hundreds of easily developed flat land around here.

I'm really not all that worried because there is a lot of land already designated for this type of thing that has been sitting for years. My personal opinion is that the City is delusional and doesn't read any studies. People are moving closer to the city, not farther away. Plus we have so much commercial, everything you could want, 4 miles away, on both sides of us, I can't imagine what company would even want to build there. I don't know. I guess I'll find out soon enough.
