There are many reasons to not like living in my hometown. I either deal with them or ignore them for the most part.
But the one thing I will never get used to is how just about everybody loses their #### when we they open up a new chain store/restaurant location here. People waited in line for like 6 hours when Red Lobster came to town after a 10 year absence. And it's not like we're lacking in this stuff. There's chain crap on everywhere.
The most recent thing is a g-damn Hobby Lobby opened about a mile from my house.

Every other broad I know is talking about it. You would think Channing Tatum was opening up a bikini wax salon the way this chicks are creaming their pants over this.

I've been a wreck for two days. Not bad enough to skip work, because I can't make anybody else sick. But enough to pray for the release that death would bring. My immune system is in open revolt. I swear I can hear tiny voices in my sinuses, chanting "Viva la Reconquista!"
But if you plan to live here for several years, you should know that this place is the mf'n Allergy Capitol of the World.
