I get in Thursday late afternoon and I'd love to get hammered in the hotel bar that night or somewhere an easy walk or cheap cabride away.Maybe even dinner and drinks if anyone is up for it.Not that I know of
Friday and Saturday I figure I do wedding stuff, but its looking like Friday afternoon may be the only chance to catch wikkidpissah, so I couldn't miss that.
Sunday/Monday is when I'm best available.
Don't care much about football all day, but really looking forward to the SNF game. I'd like to go on adventure Monday.
What do you guys look like Thur night or Sun/Mon?

Merry Christmas to all the GMTANers. I don't post often and when I do I am not witty and/or funny and I have no good stories ala Zooks/Guster/occasionally HJS but I still love you all. Hope everyone has a great Christmas.
Just get them some small safety glasses and let em go to town. My boys love to have nerf gun wars.My SIL thought it would be neat to give my boys Nerf pistols. It took a solid minute before they were pointing them at each others faces.

Pearl earrings and pearl necklace went over well. "Pearl drop earrings. These are beautiful!" 
She also really like the wine cooler. So much so it's already unpacked and plugged in.

Merry X-Mas gmtan folks! Spent the morning opening presents with the daughter, now off to the folks house. Damn near 70 degrees in Scottsdale, but can't wait to ditch this place.

HFS, thanks so much GB!! Not pictured is a set of 1993-1994 football cards and a couple of adult movies.
Of course my favorite is the mommy porn book. Mrs. SLB said she hasn't read it yet. This will be my favorite gift of 2013. I love you.
Then 20 minutes later she's ready to leave. I mean really ready to go apparently. My Dad is like WTF then he kind of got his chair really far from the table with a big smile on his face like "I get it now". FML

Pretty sure that's the last one I read and enjoyed. Read Gerald's Game and Rose Madder...hated both and pretty much gave up on Steve-O.

I told my Dad to tell my Mom to buy the boys clothes. That I'm not just being a cheap *******, but they would really appreciate it. It's either they are growing so damn fast or just plain destroying them.
At my parents they both opened up packs of new socks and were SO excited. Cal immediately took the socks he wearing off and put them on. "YES!!!" It reminded me of my FIL and how during the war he said all he ever wanted was a clean pair of socks & a warm place to sleep.
I put a brick in the box with Cal's new iPod to be tricky. It was the last thing he opened and before that, he hadn't gotten a thing he asked for. He wasn't sad about it though, just had a big smile on his face when he lugged the box from behind the tree. That made me as proud as could be. I wish I would have videotaped it because he was so happy. That and Dylan says "hey, there's a brick in here. I wonder Santa wants us to do with it?

I bought that Rocksmith system for Dylan because he's been talking about wanting to play the guitar for months. He can't wait to get it fired up. Me too.
The boys declared this the greatest Christmas ever. That makes me happy.

My wife and kid were with her parents from Saturday until this morning. I took care of a lot of #### and still hung out and it was glorious.

Christmas day today was just with my Mom's brothers and sisters. There are 35 or so I guess with us and kids and now grandkids. You know that "game" where somebody reads about Mr. Wright and left and stuff where you pass things around? It makes me want to punch something just typing it. Well one of my sick aunts come up with this idea to do this with lottery tickets. Ten bucks worth a person. I would have never participated in something like this in the past but I'm trying to the opposite of what I would do. Really Costanzing it up. The kids were going crazy scratching these things off. Irish, man.
