If Salt Lick is the choice then, sadly, I'm out. From my house to Cos's is 40 minutes, from my place to Salt Lick is around an hour. Being that far from the home base with the countdown started for the new baby is not being met warmly.

my furnace is broken. hvac company has been out here two days in a row, but didn't listen to me when I told them that it was a burned out motor in the furnace blower. today they finally figured that out, but can't get the replacement part until tomorrow.

I'm sitting under a blanket watching a bootleg copy of Frozen with my daughter and sipping on wild turkey.

Thanks guys. Judson has been battling against brain cancer for a long time, so his passing wasn't unexpected. But it still hurt a great deal more than I thought it would. I'm happy I got to see him last year around this time when he was still able to get around and communicate. Towards the end, he lost those basic dignities. I'll be in Dallas Friday through Monday. Will be good to see everybody and hug his widow....damn, she's too young to wear that moniker. :(
