GM's thread about nothing (12 Viewers)

Shoulder update - done with the sling :pickle: .

Doing "assisted active range of motion" (i.e., use my left hand to push my right arm above the shoulder) the rest of this week, then actual physical therapy next week.

TPW, GM.

200 pages into this book and I'm digging it.

As a travel aside, I have never used the bathroom on an airplane. It was just a coincidence for a few years but now its kinda my thing. This trip from SFO to denver to Austin without deplaning is going to threaten the streak.
what?

TPW GM

Speaking of vacations, might start a thread, but looking for solid all inclusive in the carribean. By solid, I mean bottled beer, premium liquor and good food. What resorts should I be looking into?

my furnace is broken. hvac company has been out here two days in a row, but didn't listen to me when I told them that it was a burned out motor in the furnace blower. today they finally figured that out, but can't get the replacement part until tomorrow.

I'm sitting under a blanket watching a bootleg copy of Frozen with my daughter and sipping on wild turkey.

GM, very sorry for your loss. You're a good friend.

Kev and Abe, PM me your phone numbers.

Tanner, love your shtick but Doge meme is dumb.

This is my first post using voice recognition on my brand-new iPhone. This must be what Tanner felt like when the radio first came out.

I was mildly stoked to find that Hulu now has the original Swedish version of The Bridge. I'd have probably been more happy if they'd have put subtitles on the f###ing show.

The cold never bothered you anyway?

Thanks guys. Judson has been battling against brain cancer for a long time, so his passing wasn't unexpected. But it still hurt a great deal more than I thought it would. I'm happy I got to see him last year around this time when he was still able to get around and communicate. Towards the end, he lost those basic dignities. I'll be in Dallas Friday through Monday. Will be good to see everybody and hug his widow....damn, she's too young to wear that moniker. :(

RIP Judson. 41. Too too young to go. I hate you, cancer.
TPW GB. #### cancer!
This.

And your box is full GM.

We should all get one of those big places together a la The Real World. Who's going to play the black one?
One of Tanner's friends.

will there be a separate wing for the kids (and cats)
Oh yeah, forgot about them. Sure, we'll consider it.

Are you seriously thinking of moving to Seattle, by the way? Where are you now?

Told her I was in if they offered her enough money. She didn't sound too excited about it though.

We are in Cleveland now. I have never lived west of Indiana. She has never lived west of Chicago.

Edit: actually she did live in Rogue River, Oregon for a year when she was 10.

I would think the opportunity to leave Cleveland for any justifiable reason at all would bring an instant "yes, I'm going upstairs to pack our things..."

My lord...was her dad Kevin Bacon in that river goes wild movie? What a remote and arbitrary place to live for one year. Almost like a whacky FM DJ radio stunt.

I actually lives with a dude (nttatwwt) for a year in Portland who was from Cleveland and moved back. Couldn't wait to go back in fact. But he was an odd fellow. Very.....fighty.
