Feeling any better?
Yeah, thanks for asking. Went to bed at 3pm yesterday with 101 fever, guzzled Nyquil, some water, some expired Motrin PM and bundled up like Bear Gryls riding out a blizzard. I already was told not to come into work so I slept until 10am. Wife took care of all kid duty, kept them away from me and when I finally woke up I was fever free. Spent all day cleaning the house with Lysol, listening to music, doing laundry...felt good just to feel normal. Had a lunchtime beer at a local pub, puffed a bit of dah kind, and am back to being Milos. Get your flu shots, kiddos.

Man, if its as cold as I think it might be, I'd take the under on the anthem....wouldn't a formerly hefty, newly thin whispy Opera singer want to get out of the element in a hurry?

Meh, if Jim Cornelison can do his thing during the 2011 NFCCG (pretty sure that game was around 0 degrees) I wouldn't worry too much about it. Though he doesn't #### around and gets it done with a quickness. Not sure how long she'll hold the notes.

Austin is encased in a thin sheet of ice, which is enough to bring civilization to a standstill. Pretty sure I'm not going to work tomorrow. :hifive:

But 2:30 is a friggen long time. The times listed are the O/U

2013 - Alicia Keys - 2:15 - Over

2012 - Kelly Clarkson - 1:34 - Debatable push

2011 - Christina Aguilera - 1:50 - Over

2010 - Carrie Underwood - 1:42 - Over

2009 - Jennifer Hudson - 2:01 - Over

My limited research is that none of them went too far over. And they all like to hold a note or six. Alicia Keys was "on fiiiiiiiirrrrrre" (yes I'm ashamed at that) at 2:20

I almost want the under but not because of weather but because 2:30 is a long time.

Gotta youtube her other national anthems to see how long she typically goes.

I was looking at stuff on her..she didn't used to be fat at all. then she ballooned, and now is just bigger than she used to be. I wonder if she was sick or something.

No national anthems that I could find.

Somehow I've made it this far into life without ever watching The Usual Suspects. That's all about to change. Right now.
WowThat's a sweet cherry to pop
No kidding. Sensational movie as long as it hasn't been spoiled for you. When the Martians arrive in Long Island is a top 5 moment ever.
I like the part where you find out Tim Robbins didn't even kill the girl, but it's too late because Sean Penn already killed him.
I already knew
the "surprise"
but that didn't ruin things any. Really good movie
Even Tanner thinks that fax came through really slow.

It's 1:45AM here and I'm wide awake. I think I got about 2.5 hours of sleep then the wife came home. I woke up when she got into bed. I couldn't fall back asleep.

This sucks.

Fallen back into ####ty sleep schedule. Last treatment was a month ago and I'm now waking up some time between 8pm and 2am. Intentionally woke up at 1am today to avoid falling asleep early Friday, have my first post treatment PET scan this morning at 11am.

Been anxious all week, no exception this morning.

Ice day :confirmed:

Unlike you procreators, I don't have a pack of young heathens underfoot. Back to bed for Milos!
Pfft. Having kids doesn't deter me. Throw some Lucky Charms in the living room, put SpongeBob on, and I'm good to go for at least 2-3 hours.

Pro Tip for Driving on Ice: go slow and take it easy. Ice is far more slippery than non-ice.

Good luck!

Currently looking out the back porch window at 30 cars stuck on Harris Branch Parkway stuck while trying to get up a mild incline. We may have gotten as much as 0.25 inches of ice overnight. Hug your loved ones, GBs.

To Kevs point, I was supposed to be at an all day strategy meeting at the UT club. Its the type of meeting where we jaw for a few hours about sustainable growth and then have a late lunch and early trip to the bar. Its was going to be snow day for grownups.

Because of the weather the meeting is off and I'm home with the boys. I'm going to the office one way of the other later.
