GM's thread about nothing (36 Viewers)

Staff sent home early after students were dismissed today. Cincinnati area forecast calling for a wintry mix of ice/sharks/minor-league Reds signings.I think I hear the bottle of Knob Creek in the cabinet calling me.
wait, you're a teacher in the area?
I do IT for a school district in N KY. I can see your HQ from my office.
 i work 8 blocks north and 2 blocks west of the HQ... we should do lunch or happy hour with shuke sometime

I have been to Vegas many times. The only time I ever gambled was showing Mrs. Osaurus how to play video poker. That was it. She takes a quarter each time with her and plays 1 slot machine. Weird right?
Yeah, that's odd.
One of my business partners has been to Vegas 3-4 times. He'll put $20 in slot machine, lose it, and then won't bet the rest of the trip.
So.....what's left to do after that? Shows?
I think he just sits at the pool and drinks. There is usually only enough comp money for one couple to go.

Oh. I guess if I had pigment I'd enjoy that too. :kicksrock:

I think I had about 50 polish mistakes at the super bowl party I went to.
I had exactly TWO. I still can't believe Mrs. SLB didn't make some to keep home. If she didn't bruise so easily I would punch her.
I asked my wife is she wanted us to make some to take to the SB we were going to. She looked at the recipe and declined. I don't think anybody here knows what they are.

I know people from here that go to Vegas and do the same thing. They don't gamble or go to shows they just "party around the pool".

So people leave a place where it is hot and every other house has a swimming pool to go to a slightly hotter place to hang around the pool. Weirdos.

Pretty sure it's not the temperature or water they're going for...

When I made them a couple weeks back it looked pretty revolting as the Velveeta cheese slowly melted into the greasy meat. I thought for sure they were going to be disgusting. They were pretty addicting though. :bag:

Never making them again. I do enough damage with booze and pot and cigarettes, throwing processed cheese meat treats into the mix would certainly guarantee a heart attack soon.

My wife is 50% polish and 50% italian. I'm not brave enough to make a joke out of this.

HI HONEY!

Plus doesn't Tanner and his crew stay at the Circus Circus? What kind of pool action is there? I mean, Homer might like it, but I doubt that's where the strippers are during the day.

Going to an event put on by the Museum of Science and History this evening.

It's at a bar, and the topic of the lecture is: "Distillation Science: Making and Mixing Whiskey in Texas"

I'm more excited that Homer during a DeGrassi Junior High marathon.

This is how we get people interested in mystical voodoo like "scoence" and "history".

1. No.

2. Blow me.

3. So people go to the pools in Vegas to see strippers in their bikinis? If only somebody would invent some sort of establishment where you could go see strippers naked.

I checked out downtown Vegas for the first time in maybe 5 years last week. It looked pretty nice. They've made quite a few upgrades down there.

Thinking of staying there next time I'm in town.

Way too many idiots with big frozen neck drinks though.

I actually had a CB Radio and tried to talk to truckers. That was both sad and hilarious. 'Breaker nine, breaker nine, this is White Shadow, anybody got their ears on out there?' :bag:
It's Breaker One-Nine, that may have been part of the problem. :lmao: :bag:
I'm sure this had been addressed already but its breaker and the channel you are on.... if you are on 15 you don't say one, nine

I'm pro downtown. Easier to get schwasted, less busy, lower table limits in the event you want to sit a table for 20+ hours...

The strip is for rookies and rubes that sport wood over the M&M factory and neato fountains.

when I was just out in Vegas, my first night out at the Hard Rock, I sat down at a $15 blackjack table with $100 buy-in.

Lost it all in 7 straight hands (they let me play the last one for only $10 since it was all I had left).

0 and 7. first time that ever happened to me. after that, I was gunshy to gamble much.
my 21st bday. Go to AC. And run an awesome 0-10.was dealt 15 or 16 like 6 times against a dealers winner, with face card showing
