GM's thread about nothing (25 Viewers)

I just paid way too much for terrible food just so I could order online and not talk to anyone. That's probably a sign of something.
I do the same thing, got a mom n pop pizza delivery place that you can order on line and they will call to confirm and give you the time they will be there. I still have to talk to someone but it's a simple confirmation and done in 3-5 seconds, the orders are perfect every time.
shouldn't you be in your MOPTAN thread?
It's a call from the produce section to the prepared food section.
Howdy, stranger.

Krista, Breaking Bad, Season 5 pt2 will be on Netflix as of Feb 24
I just finished Pt 1 so will be swinging into Pt 2 either tonight or tomorrow. Expect me to be all OMGWTF by this time tomorrow night, I'd say.

Mr. krista has been pushing The Sopranos for my next TV show; sounds like the consensus is either that or Six Feet Under. I can't consider Mad Men or Justified since they are still on the air. That just wouldn't be my style, apparently.
How did you grab season 5 pt 2? I tried hola.org and it still didn't show me season 5 pt 2 in my netflix.
she mentioned this earlier.

via work VPN, she can use an IP that makes it seem like she's in the UK I think. UK version of Netflix has season 5, part 2 available I guess.

I did this for Downtown Abbey awhile back by using some service that made it look like my IP was in Canada or England or something.

Netflix has different shows available depending on what country you are in.
Cool invention.

Not to take away from the epic DSP shot video, but I have a question for the parents in here.

Earlier today, I walked into the room where my 7.5 month old was sitting in her bouncer. She was completely rigid, legs straight out, and her hands/arms were shaking as if she was having a tremor.

She's done it once since then.

The Internet - usually the worst place to go with questions like these - seems to think this is no big deal, and we're really not alarmists, but I'll be honest: it's scary to witness.

Anyone have a kid with these types of incidents?
I don't know but if it's something serious like a seizure I'd want to know. Call your pediatrician's help line (most have them) and ask.
Its ADHD. Pick up some Ritalac formula
Someone's real 7mth old child is not something to joke around about.
Oh please
So you have a child and know what it's like when something like this occurs? Oh wait no you don't you couldn't wait to prove a child isn't yours.
I know I dont get bent out of shape over nothing. And yeah I couldnt wait to prove that the ******* child of my whore wife wasnt mine. Im really a scumbag arent I?
Making a joke at the expense of a 7mth old sure points in that direction.Atvthe expense of a 7 month old? Do you hear how ridiculous you sound? It was a joke about the medical industry not a child.

People are making jokes about child abuse on this board left and right and this is what you find offensive?
Well I am sure if I was concerned about my 7mth old and posted here about it with a question in the GMTAN even Tanner wouldn't make a joke about it without having some real advice first. And quiet frankly when I have had questions about my kids not one person in the GMTAN made a joke about it without advice first.

My plan for the evening has commenced. Re-watching the first three episodes of True Detective, followed up by the new one that airs later.

Bought an 18-pack earlier, and actually went back into the store to get another one cause I knew 18 wasn't gonna be enough. Be prepared, I always say. :banned:

Thankfully, I won't be around much for tonight's stupidity.
Yeah I'm watching True Detective tonight also, haven't seen it yet but have been looking forward to it.
Hope you dig it as much as I do. Rare for me to fall so head-over-nutsack for a show so quickly. It's a slow burn kind of show but it hooked me from the jump.
McConaghey is unbelievable. When did he become so ###### good?

This last week can go suck it. My MIL went into the hospital on Thursday due to extreme dehydration caused by what turned out to be a bacterial infection in her intestines. Got discharged yesterday, had vision problems today and is back in because she had a mini-stroke and bleeding on the brain possibly caused by one of the medications they gave her. No idea yet what they're trying to do to help her at this moment.

I also had to take her dog and have him put to sleep on Thursday while she was in the hospital because he had kidney failure, was in pain and peeing all over the place.

On top of all of that, I feel like crap today and have a brown river running out of me which means I may have picked up the same fun bacteria my MIL has. 4 year old daughter also had a messy accident last night which is extra terrifying thanks to the jacked up autoimmune/hematology disorder she has where her body will sometimes start destroying her own blood cells when she gets sick.

Good times.

And noe I get to drive my wife up through the snow and dark into the paradise of Camden, NJ to drop her off at the hospital to be with her mom.
Sorry, GB. Hope things get better for you soon and hope the MIL makes a full recovery.

Missed this Grove, sorry to hear about this. TPW that things turn to the positive as fast as possible.

Hawk. I cant give advice im not a pediatrician. My advice is the same as everyones, take the kid to a doctor.

But of course its ok for everyone to purposely rip on my and the sick injured baby that could have been mine. The one I prepared 7 months for in case he was mine. The one I worked hand in hand with CPS to help even when I knew he wasnt mine.

Thats all ok isnt it?

No, never had to deal with that :(

I'm sure it's nothing though
Call the doctor tomorrow and speak to the advice nurse. That's free and peace of mind is priceless.

 Seriously you, STLB, and GM helped a lot when I was trying to get all the crap figured out with my oldest. I won't hold your ####ty TV opinions against you.

What might that be?

My point is my joke was just a joke.

My second is people like to judge others about things they have no experience of.

If I offended YSR I apologize but I was not trying to make a joke on anyone but the medical industry for overdiagnosing ADD

Hawk64. I can see you are a woman.

Go cheat on your husband and get pregnant. Then tell me how enthusiastic he is about it

Can we not do this ifighting crap in here? Take it outside. Please.
Seriously. Sorry my question caused a stink - I even put it in a spoiler tag so as not to muddle the thread with it. Thanks to all who responded. I'm going to give our pediatrician a "just in case" call tomorrow. Don't really know what to say about the rest of it. Maybe I'll just take few days to see if our newest star burns out or fades way....

City shutdown in full effect. Out of beer. This could get ugly.
what did you try texting me?I think you butt dialed me yesterday too. voice mail was just white noise.
The sound of my people....Was looking for curling bets. :bag:
the tournament that's the most interesting this year is the women's (Russia!). Some interesting lines for tonight's action. I haven't locked it down yet, but will be going in pretty heavy
I probably won't be reposting these in this thread again (won't remember), but here's for tonight.

Women's curling:

Canada should win their matchup against China, but they have been less than perfect lately (narrow wins), so not betting them today.

Russia and Denmark has played tight matchups, but Denmark holds a slight edge with a better Euro Championship showing (beat them twice), At +120, that's worth a TV unit, because you want to watch Russia play, trust me.

Sweden -1.5 +140 is just too high of a line in a game that shouldn't be that close....

Swiss will mop the floors (no pun intended) with the US IMO, but the line is rough. I am going to play them ML with the Sweden ML for a +111 two team parlay.

Thanks GB. I couldn't parlay them on SB, but I played Denmark and Sweden. Is this on the TV tonight?
Starts 2am Pacific tomorrow...

If you are cognizant of where your onoff swith is, it'd be a good idea to go ahead and flip it for a while.

Wait, YOU were worried about muddling up the thread? Have you read the last 5 pages? Your post was like throwing a pearl into a pile of pig ####.

Dont worry folks ill be posting a chug video soon. My gf is going to help
Why don't you just have her do the shot video instead
She doesnt drink. I cant do a shot video becwuse Idont like liquor. Im going to chug two 22oz of guiness stout.

Is that good enough?
I don't trust people who don't drink bourbon.
I don't know if I'd go that far. I know plenty of women who don't like bourbon that I trust.
I can't help you if you are naturally inclined to trust women, in the first place.
SNOW SHUT IN 2014 means we've been living off of Alabama's finest smoked sausage. I love you. And your sausage. And I don't care who knows about it.
My sausage is delicious. I made jambalaya with some tonight.
Yeah, that's the first thing I made with it. Outstanding. I brought it over to a poker party where one of the players is the owner of this restaurant. He made me give him the recipe before the night was over. Told him he could try, but absent your sausage, it just wouldn't be the same.

I only have one package left. :kicksrock:

Thanks again for sending that. Totally unexpected but very appreciated.

Eggggggggggggggsellent.

I have to walk to the train tomorrow morning (first world problems) then get my car which has been parked all weekend at a Buffalo Wild Wings with about $100 worth of Montana's best beef inside of it (god I hope it's still frozen and unstolen) then amble into the office for a long day of catch-up. Will be great to turn on some curling when I get in.

Took the boys sledding today. There's some pretty steep hills where I live. I Chevy Chased them and went first down a street. Even without the experimental food additive spray, the ice and my fat assssssssss made the sled go incredibly fast. Yada yada yada, I think I owe a neighbor a new mail box and my groin is in shambles. :bag:
