GM's thread about nothing (19 Viewers)

Sorry. Those two posts are really long.

Whoever was asking for bourbon recommendations earlier ---> I'm still a bit of a novice, but nobody has ever been mad at me for recommending Blantons. Probably my personal favorite right now.
:goodposting:

and congrats on the case.

After a BB marathon last night, Mrs. SLB said she was too tired for sweet love down by the fire but I was free to use her if I wanted. I declined.

Might be drinking right now. YSR< :hey:

Eta - I should have ####ed her.
So I look back with a (I know what you're thinking and I would love to do all of those things you want me to do) kind of smile (I change the "smile" from "you're" to "your" if she looks dopey)
:lmao:

Glad to see you.
 That was written just for you. I'm glad you appreciated it.

Aaron, Guster, thanks.
I'm still laughing today.
I wrote it down the next day so I wouldn't forget.

Thanks for the congratulations and the kinds words guys. I lived and died with this thing for the last 3 or so years. I would get so exasperated by the other side's tactics that when we got their briefs my co-counsel and his secretary would leave my copy on my desk with a care package that consisted of a pack of smokes (before I quit, gum or chocolate after that) and a six pack of whatever local beer I was digging at the time. If it was real bad they'd leave a bottle of whiskey. I could always tell what level of anger they thought the other side's brief would inspire in me by what kind of booze they gave me with my copy of the brief.

So, yeah, I work with awesome people. :lmao:
Great stuff! Very happy for you. When you gonna marry the hot doctor?

I sent a $39 check to the courthouse to pay my ridiculous parking ticket. You are given an option to write a letter explaining your side of things. I used this option to trace my middle finger and tell 'them' to eat ****.

Will I get taxed in a hospital bed with wheels?

Can't tell if you love your wife or not anymore today. Can we get a fb update?
The wife gave me hell about V-day a couple of years ago, so I chose obnoxiously overboard as my response. I'm not usually much of a FB poster.
This makes me feel a little better.
Added bonus: all the women are "liking" the last card I posted and saying it's sweet, presumably because they aren't noting the word "#######" that appears over and over again in the background.

they will just post it on their bulletin board

Just left double daves pizza buffet. Despite being a huge underdog due to being half as old, Yuke won the eat off 6 slices to 5. May have a future ox and yams on my hands.

The best part is that kids eat free. I expect to be banned at some point.

Pizza Roll Tuesday is like a national holiday in this house.

New car recommendations? Thinking going with another Accord. Put about 110k miles on that and never had any big problems. It's 7 years old and blue book is still about 8k.

I can't remember how insurance handled the last car I had totaled (not my fault, #####), so not sure how they calculate value.

I'm just glad you are okay GB.

I am glad you are okay. And I am hopeful that they write "slid on black ice" on the report and you are forced to sign it.

The officers actually testified that they had to tase him while he was cuffed to the bed because (a) the bed had wheels on it and he could've escaped;
Well technically the cops are right.
Yeah, I suppose that's true. The mental image of my client flying down the hallway using the bed like a giant skateboard always made me laugh.

Thanks GB. Wedding is full steam ahead for September. Things are suddenly happening really fast over here. But I've been the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up for a long time now, so that's probably a good thing.

Thanks.

One of my biggest fears is that I'll die in an accident some day and the report will say "black ice".

But there was definitely nothing black about the snow/ice yesterday. It was there, I saw it. I think I just gave my car too much credit for how it handles in the snow.

You guys remember my brother's son Lukas who was born at some ridiculously early gestational age in Denver even though they live in Minnesota and so they were stranded out there for three months and he had a scary brain bleed at one point? Well his head size is measuring off the charts and the doctors were worrying that he might have whatever that is that makes your brain too big for your skull or whatever something really scary as a result of that brain bleed. He had an MRI yesterday and the results are back and he's healthy just has a giant melon (he could be the thread mascot, apparently). So whew.
That's great to hear, GB

Anybody gonna be around drinking tonight or is everyone going to be busy eating fancy food and doing kinky sex stuff?
My agenda:

6) Texting actual **** pics to Tanner

8) Freeze pops and then bed
6. I changed my number. Send **** pics to Shuke and he can forward them.

8. What's your opinion on these things?
Frosty's wife has a new hobby?
Still sticking with crochet, though as far as I know she doesn't do dickscarves.
