GM's thread about nothing (42 Viewers)

I tell the boys to stand up and get beside me on the right. Cal immediately does what he's told. Dylan is distracted by some dope that misinterprets the hand signals of the principal to the people holding the ropes to exclaim "kids Mr. (principal) says it's alright to go to the basket now!".
Kids can #### up a free pizza.
So it's like being stuck in the true detective thread.

Ohio GMTANers. Particularly you Columbus guys. I saw this last week at the grocery store only it was $16.99 per pint. It was driving me insane wondering HTF somebody could charge that much for ice cream but I broke down and bought some of the Whiskey & Pecan. It was good. Like ice cream. I got totally played. Am I missing something here?

This was an adult. :lmao:
Them too.
Mrs. SLB & myself forgot about the IEP meeting we were supposed to have today at school. Luckily I took a shower and got dressed this morning so I was only half an hour late. :bag:

I'm considering taking a percocet (TF, what m-gee, are you rolling?) and chilling to the next episode.
250MG
350 here with Acetaminophen so that may be the extra 100 mg. :hifive:
Man, just took one on a semi empty stomach. Not recommended.

No but I felt like somebody came on my back after the first taste.

Having a big party next Friday for March Madness and I want to incorporate some sort of gambling....problem is that the critical mass won't be arriving until later in the afternoon. Any ideas on what I can do?

Chicken#### bingo is pretty big in Austin. Lay out a 10 x 10 grid, take their diapers off and have people wager on which box the boys #### in first.

Jeni's? That's really good ice cream. But expensive.

I send our GB an old iPod touch with a crack in it when he mentions in the FFA Swap Meet thread that he's looking for one. He offers to send me some stuff in exchange. Totally forgot about it. I came home to a package today and I SO got the better end of the deal:

- Pearl Jam CD from Tampa, Florida, August 12, 2000 show (Not sure if this is a result of Otis bashing pearl jam schtick or Otis bashing the copyright infringers shtick)

- Christmas ornament with a picture of shuke shaving in a lake

- Quad City DJs CD (Get On Up and Dance)

- Pedometer (from Otis pedometer nerd thread)

- Men's g-string/stripper thing in tuxedo style ("formal")

- BBQ Bible, Sauces, Rubs and Marinades book

- Home Improvement 1-2-3 (Home Depot) book, with note on the cover indicating "this should save you a few hundred grand" :lmao:

- Two english muffins in a ziplock bag, with note written on the outside of the bag: "good luck w/ Atkins"

- Thumb drive taped to a printout of my posting in the Eddie Vedder thread in which I asked if people seriously still listened to Pearl Jam (Thumb drive has two Pearl Jam albums on it)

- Pamphlet from the American Associate of Drilling Engineers, New Orleans Chapter, "13th Annual Fin, Feather, or Fur Food Festival, April 10, 2008" (with some cool recipes in it)

:lmao:

Well played, good buddy.

I used that Home Depot book as recently as last weekend when I swapped out the knobs and locks on our exterior doors.

I'm going the other way, and finishing my garage so I can build a room for all my (my wife's) books :wall:

I'm about to go drinking with a buddy at the Austin Rodeo. I would be much more prepared to handle it if I hadn't already decided to get drunk while hanging out with the boys in the front yard this afternoon. May need a power nap.

oof

I'm really hesitant to announce this because I don't actually have the check in my hand but my lawsuit against former client has been settled verbally as of Tuesday. I meant to call my lawyer today to see if they sent the mutual release agreement yet but IEP meeting yada, yada. I ended up turning down 7 offers I believe and got the number I was originally seeking. My heart is pounding and I'm shaking just typing this. Crazy poker. Crazy.

Thank you to the GMTAN lawyers that PMed me when this whole thing started. It gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing my guy was going in the right direction. I've always considered him as brilliant, as well as extremely kind and caring, but never being involved in something like this, it was very reassuring. I can't overstate how huge this is to my life and that of my family. THANK YOU.

Same here - I love the cayenne chocolate and the peanut thai lemongrass ...something, I don't think they have it anymore. I can get it for 11.99 here in Little Rock, AR and got it for 8.99 a couple of years ago at a nice grocery store that carried it in Kettering, OH. The grocery story you got it in ripped you off. That said, I usually go for a new flavor that sounds really interesting, I have really LIKED them all, but haven't found one yet that makes me crave it to the point of shelling that kind of dough to go back often. Indulgent, occasional treat for us.

Getting my hair cut. Stylist mentioned in passing that because I have the "Cherub Botticelli" subgroup of curls, I should use a certain product. Stopped her to find out WTF she's talking about and she showed me some literature on the types of curls and their subgroups (group: Botticelli, subgroup: cherub). This is a thing now? Guess I need to take this to the curly board.

That's where I'm at. I was dying to just taste it to figure out how they could justify that much money. Plus I've gotten kind of doughy the last few months. :bag:

:lmao: It was really good, don't get me wrong. Ben & Jerry's is good too though. It's not the difference between ice cream and ice milk which we used to get as kids. I don't exactly have a trained pallet when it comes to these things. GDB these whore genes of mine.
