GM's thread about nothing (25 Viewers)

Mr. krista just left to get a haircut at a place that offers haircuts for $4. It's connected to a gas station. This should end well.

 
Orthodonist didn't ask to immediately set an account up but that isn't unusual. I stopped by 9 other places after dropping Cal off at school and two of the nine did however. The last time I made 10 cold calls in one day, I was happy. You know, single, young and had hair. I've been developing a new technique for making these calls and I'm pretty encouraged considering the results today.

Cal had to get a new retainer. The orthodontist is making sure it fits correctly and everything then asks Cal if he has any questions. Cal says "yes, I don't think you've made this right. These wires aren't supposed to be sticking out like this." Orthodontists replies, "yes they are". Cal restates his claim while I just face palm.

 
Rooting for UW-Milwaukee because I got a degree there. I know they will lose to Nova, but I give them credit for even getting in.

In a shock to 50% of the household, apparently one doesn't get a great haircut at a gas station. It is...short. Shorter than either Mr. krista or Igor (really his name) intended, I'm told.

By the way, Mr. krista paid the $5 extra for a "precision" cut. WTF does this mean? If you don't get it, do they just hack away randomly with some kitchen shears?

I think it means he paid precisely $5 more for a haircut not worth the original $4

 
I forgot to mention my least favorite thing about Seattle, which is this #$(!#(( #&$&$^^^ *(#&$J #&&@*** time zone. I hate it so hard. Can't wait 'til tomorrow when the NCAA tournament games start at break of dawn. :rant:

In college we used to get out hair cut at a place called the City Barber. Three old vets who told bull#### stories non stop. Didn't matter what you asked for, you got the same haircut as everyone else. High and tight. $6. One time my buddy asked for something else and got pissed off when the barber was done. He called the next guy in to the chair and got started and said, "it's called high and tight. You complain now, but if it were one of them sorority girls you'd be hard as a plank"
