Were it me, I'd tell her I'm not wasting a babysitter to have a breakup talk. If that's the talk we're having, we can have it now and I'll use my babysitter night to go out with friends. And if it's a talk about anal, less talking and more lubing.

From what little I can gather, it seems like she's a good place to park his schvantz while he waits for the next future ex-wife.

It could be the other talk. Though that's an even better reason to cancel.

There should be a flow chart.

and so on.

This seems to encompass all the most likely scenarios. It's not particularly elegant, but I think it works OK. I know the fish aren't great pointers, but they did seem appropriate in this instance.

Rethought this. I don't even remember who it is, but somebody on this board lives in my wife's school district. Don't want to get her fired. Suffice to say, they'd rather teachers do nonsense like put up signs talking about rubrics and referring to them all the time rather than actually teach.

And grading a teacher poorly because of a student struggling that has only been in the class for 3 days is craziness.

Having gone through kindergarten with my boys, it's amazing how much it has changed since I was a kid. I think the teacher's main responsibility was to make sure kids took naps and didn't eat the paste.

After multiple years, she is pretty use to me just getting things done using smoke and mirrors. She has never really witnessed actual effort I guess. Plus she isn't exactly the kind of person to hand out compliments. I thank her mother for that.

I do think this is a part of it. Some administrators are going to look at how a teacher teaches, how the students respond to them and how successful the students are. Some are at into metrics and systems and rubrics.

Kindergarten has changed a lot. In my wife's district the kids are able to write full paragraphs and read simple books by the end of the year.

Actually, hilariously, the new state curriculum forced my wife's school to dumb down their program and teach the kids less than they did in years prior.

Education has become more about the paperwork and processes than about good teachers being able to actually teach.

It's looking like I'm going to be putting down my 11-year old German Shep today. She's had back leg problems for years now, and they've steadily grown more weak and painful. We thought we'd have to put her down a month ago but she seemed to improve for a while, but now she's not been eating again.

She lives with my ex (I've got an apartment and no yard) who leaves the back door to the house open at night so she can wander in and out as needed. It rained early this morning and she went to check on her and found her lying in the rain in the back yard where she had been last night. She'd never do that if it wasn't too painful for her to get up.

Molly's been the best dog I've ever had. This ####### sucks. :(

It's a generic dumbed down set of standards, curriculum and processes that is being forced on the entire country despite virtually every teacher hating it and zero proof that it benefits students.

It also generally requires volumes of paperwork and administrative stuff.

Beale is okay. Mud island is fun. Graceland is worth doing. Road out of town to Nashville is the city's best feature though.
