Our potential arborist visited today. My pine needle culprit is a 100+-foot Deodar Cedar that he estimates to be 80 years old or so. It's in healthy shape but needs to be cabled together and some branches cut back. No way would I get this guy chopped down.

Can't wait to climb it this summer.

The first time I found out chiggers existed was when I was 13. I spent a week in KC with a good buddy visiting his dad. (His mom and dad were divorced which was really rare back in 1984 where I lived) Anyhow, we were making out with some chicks on a blanket in a wooded area on a Thursday. I went back home on Friday. Come Saturday I had all of these god awful bites under my arms that itched like crazy. I received a letter in the mail the following week that said "I hope you are enjoying your chiggers". Funny dude.

I've never had them on my #### before though. Chiggers are the worst.
