### ####it. We have to schedule a c-section.
Everything will be just fine. Out of curiosity, what did they say was the reasoning?
Breech. Head up, ### down, legs kind of up as well. Wife is 37 weeks and while amniotic fluid is in normal range, it is on the low side so they cannot turn him and he likely will not turn in his own. She's tried chiropractics, inversion, and moxibustion these last few weeks. He just likes his spot.

We had an orange cat when I was 12. His name was Fred.
Huh....I had a black and white cat around that age. His name was Ralph.
:hifive:

Fred was a bad mother####er. I watched him chase down and attack a big ### groundhog one day.
Had an orange cat growing up named Ramon. He pretty much thought he was a dog(which made him awesome). He would do similar things to this "Fred" you speak of. However, he was no match for that Ford Escort that clipped him one summer afternoon. *pours out a little bit of milk on the ground*

My guess? Doctor has an early afternoon tee time that day and doesn't want to bork it up by having his patient birth that baby too slow!

Screw letting nature be, you know, nature. "I have a reservation at Mountain Gate for 3:30, dammit!!"

Breech. Head up, ### down, legs kind of up as well.
Or, y'know, it could be that.

Best of luck.

Hi happy people!!!

Makes no difference for us, what works for you guys? This guy can drink and I need some help preserving my liver remnants.
I can't make lunch. The Man will be keeping me down. Pretty flexible in the evenings, though, particularly if I get any lead time.
:goodposting:

Pick a date and I will make dinner out.

Downer post:

A friend from Chicago had a long post on her blog a couple hours ago that was very suicidal. Now I've been PMing with her on Facebook to try to support her. Seems to be helping, but it's a scary situation.

Not even a close friend (she ran in the same group of musicians), but I figured being on PDT I might be seeing it when others didn't and that she needed someone (she said that deep down she had hoped someone would reach out). Guess I'll thank PDT that I can help, I hope.

Any advice appreciated.

Discuss things in the present and the future, try to stay away from the past.

Call 911 while texting? I thought that was one of the things they did.

So I might be out of a job soon.

They are restructuring my division and making it a Center of Technology. The 3 year long project I've been working in has been shut down, as have all new projects.

We are now considered a Global Resource for Technology.

Sure it sounds great on the surface, but I'm a CAD Designer, not Software, Hardware, or Communications.

:kicksrock:
Sucks, man. Are you hired on a contract basis by project? I'm really confused about Center vs. Global Resource.
Thanks GB.

Right now we have no clue what's going to happen. 99% of Engineering are software, hardware, and SEMs & COMs guys, we only have 3 Solidworks Designers. The plan is to use our plants' specialties to help the rest of the company modernize older and newer products.

Just trying to figure out where we in Mechanical Design fit in.

TPW Mr Pack. Hope it all works out for you
Thanks GB, appreciate it

:( You making Beerhole?
Yea, thanks GB.

Still planning on it.

While that might be a great idea if the person is on the cusp, it might also make another person feel abandoned if they feel you pawned them off. It's a tough thing to read.

She's out of the woods tonight, I think.

I do feel like we're OK for tonight. Hopefully tomorrow we can get things in better perspective in the light of day. One issue is that her world really revolves around her son, who is off to visit his dad for the summer. If he were around, she could get by better, I think.

OK, I was just getting really bummed and worried I wasn't doing enough, but you guys have been very helpful. Back to your regularly scheduled happy posts and making fun of gingers.

Both my kids were C-sections too. Was just fine.

My orange cat was named Merlin. (and now Murray).

Murray has already gotten lost in the basement crawlspace and the basement ceiling.

Two c-section kids here too.

Have my first official meeting as a member of the United Way board tomorrow. A person of interest to this thread will also be there. Lots of coy text messages received this week.

Pretty much th exact same story with my daughter. Wife had a c-section. It's very common nowadays, should be fine.

GL TPW to you and your wife.

Oh and if blood makes you queasy, during the procedure do not, I repeat DO NOT peek over the divider. :bag:
