GM's thread about nothing (29 Viewers)

In order to prevent catastrophes like my wife giving away my last beer, I need to stock a basic beer for guests other than my beer snobby beer that will be for me and more distinguished visitors.

Not that I am really a beer snob, as I don't know much about them or drink often. I just like to occasionally try different things (mostly stouts and porters). What would be something decent to just have on hand for people in general other than like coors/miller lite type swill?

Heineken? Sam Adams?
I recently rediscovered Gennesee Cream Ale
Got myself a mixed 6 pack; founders breakfast stout, founders curmudgeon, tres blueberry stout, Breckinridge imperial chocolate cream stout, stacked milk stout, Ithaca apricot wheat. Plus 6 Heineken for emergencies like unexpected guests. Wife has instructions to only give out green bottles when I'm not around.

Happy post Murica day everbody!!!

Chillin up at lake arrowhead watching the young nubiles. Pretty impressive display last night. The fireworks were good too. HeeeyO
Never been there. How does it compare to Big Bear?
Smaller town. Very lake centric as opposed to ski centric. The lake itself looks more like a real lake than big bear lake. It also doesn't suffer from the severe drought effects that big bear seems to suffer from. I've seen big bear so dry, the docks to all the houses weren't even sitting in water. Had a blast

Don't really care. Just making small-talk.

How hard is it to tell them "there is a guy I know from the internet that was on Jeopardy and has a sleeping bag. He could totally crash on the porch." ???

Oddly enough that's what I told my wife about beerhole (minus the Jeopardy thing, but added Ben Stein)

On a whim I looked up train/plane fares to Fonzietown. Good freaking gravy.

If I had any idea how to promote myself (hi, bentley)...I could probably stay anywhere for free.
That's me. All self-promotion and PowerPoint anger. And finding creative ways to get paid to drink.

Begs for an arrested development remix of "Tennessee"

Also, I hit a 9 year old in the head with a soccer ball from like 30 yards away and made him cry a little bit.

On purpose.

I'm actually really good at soccer, but I generally don't admit it. So let's keep this between us...as far as you know, it was an accident.
:lmao: Friday this little girl also 9, FB pic of Dylan making the move on her to come later, was going down the slide into the pool and her dad was throwing a football to her so she could catch it as she went in. He kept overthrowing her though. Then mom is trying and she was too quick. The ball then lands at my feet. Kid goes down and throw a bb and it crushes her in the face. #######it. :bag:

I found out that my KC brethren use "bob of the party" frequently in reference to my showing 8 years ago at my GB's 40th birthday party. :lmao: jerkoffs
