GM's thread about nothing (23 Viewers)

This is the first I've ever heard of BWW.

it's a thing?
there's over 1000 locations. you might want to get out more, GB.
Whoa...flashback. I actually used to frequent the Royal Oak BW3 15+ years ago to watch hockey with my buddies. The interns had a little contest to see who could eat the hottest wings. I went with sweet and honey.

15,000 Sq ft in Times Sq equates to $125K monthly rent. Besides our group there was 5 people there at 12:45 pm. But I guess with 1K locations you accept the loss leader in exchange for branding.

I keep seeing nice lots for sale. Tempted to build. Getting a house built is probably fast and easy to budget for, right?

The last time I went to BW3, they told me they didn't sell wings by the dozen anymore and offered them by the 10-piece, instead. I'm sure they lowered their prices accordingly.

My kids are gone for four weeks. Four.
Camp? Vacation? Divorce?

My boys were spent last week at an overnight camp while my wife played drug mule to Frosty. It was a long and lonely week with just me and Hazel. Loved my time with her for sure as we bonded quite a bit, buy my god, was I ever ready for my wife to come back home and relieve me. She's more work than both boys put together.
They're at my parents for two weeks, then Mrs. IB's parents for two.

Not sure what to do with all my new-found free time.
Do your parents call things "######ed" in front of your kids?

I think I have been to that place maybe 6 times in 9 years which is about a 1/2 mile up the street. I feel like they are serving food like at a carnival. Never been a fan.

not sure. My parents are all kinds of unintentionally improper

-GM's wife brought meat, cookie, and nookie to Frosti

-Olive bars are growing in popularity in racially diverse neighborhoods

-I'm invading YSR's dreams (sorry Romo)

-SLB and Da Raiders are both dying. Might be from booze. Might be from celebrity prom rejections.

-shuke beat up David Beckham at a Kroger deli, leading to the revelation that Otis has no idea how to play blackjack

-People in this thread are, surprisingly, experts on old candy you can't buy anymore. And I don't just mean Tanner.

-krista's house shopping (actually true)

-Rude won money from Da Raiders on a prop bet that had something to do with pancakes and Eddie Van Halen

-2002 Minooka Pirates rule!

-Tiger Fan's ice empire is going to pay for his Pac Man video game addiction

-SLB had his wife's bronze jewlery made into a cat statue for their anniversary (awwwwwwwwwwwwwe!). Then 'zooks used it for STD prevention (ewwwwwwwwwwwww!)

-BigJohn engages in some heavy petting with "Jake from State Farm"

-Frosti and Tre are delusional!

-In order to find someone who knows how to do him bodily harm in a more effective and efficient manner, fish started dating a doctor. She's apparently 24. No word yet on if she's really Neil Patrick Harris

-bentley had lunch with Abe, hold the Abe.

-Norwood is making a meal for his wife for their anniversary. No word on if he took SLB's advice to dip their leftover scallops from Friday in chocolate and serve them as homemade truffles

-Malort, turning taste-buds into taste-foes for generations

-krista lives in more houses in a year than Abe visits gas stations in a week

-After Al Gore tried to set some mood lighting and accidentally shut off the interwebs, we all decided to exchange letters via the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail, but IB was too late for the 4:30 autogyro.
-Annyong won a leaf blower for Pennsyltucky at the Western Open

-Truck's dad spread some rumors about the party habits of bentley's neighbors, so bentley got to buy his house for $30k less than he was going to pay

-If Tanner had never met woz, he would have been by far the dumbest person in his jury pool

-Cats, Cheese, and Boobs: Coming soon to an internet near you (www.meowhitestiltonipples.com)

-The FFA has had lots of attention whores over the years

-Abe's selling #### again. Change your phone numbers

-Lots of people in this thread REALLY like putting nuts in their mouths

-I think that brings us to today, so I'll stop here. But I had a TOTALLY original thought earlier today that I would like to share with all of you. krista may talk about her housing situation a lot, but she does not vomit her wealth all over the FFA, and she does not remind us all she married a submissive Chinese sherpa in every thread imagable. She's goodish people.

So we let my 5 year old go a few houses in either direction ( lots of other kids/parents on the block)

He just comes back with a sonic the hedgehog Ice cream

Me: where'd you get that

Him: some lady bought it for me

Me: we don't take things from strangers

Him: she looked nice

Me: :wall:

Whew, glad I still had a like left today.

My favorite: bentley had lunch with Abe, hold the Abe. :lmao:
It was a rough start imo. Kinda felt like the section between there and Cats, Cheese, and Boobs was the only part that was really worthwhile. But they can't all be best sellers.

Woke up Saturday morning before 6am to prepare for a 24 hour beach soccer charity event that started at noon. Due to thunderstorms at 3am-ish, it went until 1pm Sunday afternoon. Kicking balls for boobs!!! I was caked in sand and exhausted when it was done. Stayed up Sunday afternoon for the Soundgarden/NIN show that night. We were hammered by storms throughout the concert. Seeing NIN in the rain with lightning striking in the distance was absolutely perfect. Miss and I were grinding to Closer like a pair of teenagers but we didn't care. Trent Reznor makes music for all our sins. After the show, we looked like a pair of homeless puppies waiting for the train. We were drenched and cold.

I was awake for 44-ish straight hours for the first time in years...with nothing to help...and it was one of the greatest weekends of my life.

Today sucked balls.

I've read back a bit and I get what furley is saying. Not to take sides (because furley has always been a total **** to me) but a lot of you do act like elitists around here.

A lot of you do suck Krista's **** like she's a queen. There's a certain few of you around here that circle the wagons if something bad is said about the group.

I like Krista. She's good people and she's a great person from everything I know of her on a personal level. I don't see it as anything Krista does or says per se but if anyone steps up to her, a lot of you do the fighting for her which kind of sucks because she's really good at putting people in their place herself.
