GM's thread about nothing (17 Viewers)

Any chance I can get a different Magic Football Partner? Mine can't even figure out how to accept an invitation to the leeg, which really doesn't bode well for his shouldering the heavy load this season.

Great first day in Seattle. Walked around Pike Place Market and grabbed some lunch, had dessert in park overlooking the waterfront, rode the Ferris wheel, swam in the hotel pool for a long while and now a friend is swinging by to take my daughter and me out for dinner
Awesome. Where you staying?
Marriott Waterfront so we can walk to all the touristy stuff we want to do

ESPN is tougher to install than netflix for some

3. Almost everything on TV sucks.

6. I hope little YSR is doing better. :(

9. Butthole shtick makes me long for the comedic stylings of Ray Jay Johnson. I thought most of you people were better than this.

Speaking of buttholes though, I took Dylan to the doctor today because he has been complaining that his stomach hurts for a couple of weeks now. I was worried it had something to do with the baseball bat he took to the gut a couple of months ago but after an x-ray, and a finger up his butt, that isn't the case. Thank baby Jesus. A nurse just called to tell me the problem though. He has something called "Slow Pockets". He basically has gaps or something in his intestines causing him pain. I just Loogled and nothing came up so maybe she's just ####### with me.

Anyhow, the conversation went like this.

*ring*

Me: Hello?

Person on other end: Is this Dylan's dad?

Me: Lots of Dylans around here. Did this Dylan do something wrong?

Person on other end: This is Mary from Dr. Lubeyfinger's office.

Me: Oh, hello Mary!

Mary: The x-ray shows Dylan has Slow Pockets, it isn't anything to worry about but we can see why he has pain now.

Me: That's a relief!

Mary: Would you describe Dylan as active?

Me: Yes, we walk 2-5 miles every morning. Well I walk he usually runs the entire thing. Is that bad?

Mary: No, exercise is good. That helps.

Me: Okay.

Mary: Fresh fruit will help him too.

Me: He eats fresh fruit every single day. I should buy a fruit stand.

Mary: Great!

Mary: He should stay away from carbs though.

Me: I can't get him to eat ANY pasta and if I make him a sandwich, he'll only eat the meat and leave the bread on the plate. He does like waffles in the morning though.

Mary: Okay, we need to cut that out. Does he drink a lot of soda or sugary drinks?

Me: He has never had a soda in his life. He usually drinks milk with his meals and water the rest of the time.

Mary: Lets cut out milk for now then.

Me: Okay....

Mary: Okay, great! Let's make these changes and see what happens!

Me:  Alright, thanks Mary!
Sounds like the disease my daughter has, Gastroparesis.

Low carb, no raw veggies, etc

Good luck to Dylan

There is a slight chance that the girl might come back to Maine with me at the end of this month for a family reunion. Might as well meet all of my dad's side of the family at once :oldunsure:

The Pro Wrestling thread is like 70 pages long. I'm starting to think that an Ebola plague here in the US wouldn't be such a bad thing.
I'm pretty sure TigerFan and I have both spent hundreds of dollars on Wrestlemania tickets. Not sure what that says about us or America.
I'm convinced Tigerfan is the real life version of 'Big'.
Stunningly accurate.

This is a perfect example of why you don't go beauty over brains. Stop with the libido driven decision making.

I have UW meetings tonight and tomorrow night that involve spending time in bars with 20somethings. Community leadership is hard work.
Just had two 27 year old girls invite themselves to my 40th birthday party in a couple weeks. What could possibly go wrong?

The following people should have received the ESPN invite but not joined: I'm sending another invite right now, sorry if it's a duplicate and you just haven't gotten to it yet.

Abe, Ignoramus, Homer, GM, Thorn, Krista, BobbyLane, Shuke, SLB & Cos. Check your trash, spam, etc.

Good luck, Dylan. Slow pockets definitely sounds like it's made up.

Phoebe had her first soccer practice tonight. She probably won't be winning any MVP awards, but I'm happy to say she wasn't one of the five kids on her team who cried during practice.
