Home base is my place in Cincy, so 90 min from CBus. If more people can come that I can accomodate, there is a new hotel (courtyard, I think) that opened a mile from my place.

Another 90 min or so party bus ride down to the derby

Cincy is 2 hours, Louisville is about 90 minutes further.Edit: yeah 90 to Cincy as well...been a while since I made that trip. My best time was 1:14 when running late for a Bengals tailgate.

Yep. I check prices recently, thinking about going up there for a few nights. Prices ranged between 230 - 500 per night.

My plan is to make the plane, room and whatever else reservations then tell Mrs. SLB at the last possible minute. I'll probably pull the "I told you this a year ago!!!" card.

CVG is the airport you want. Pretty scaled down though. Used to be a direct flight from Seattle. No more.

Oh and I'm unaware of any hotel attached to our fine Casino in Cincinnati. The riverboat ones have them (Hollywood), but there are plenty of other hotels downtown.

We are in a couple playgroups, one of which is through our city's mother's club. There's a lady in it who's...a little kooky. She just had her 4th child at age 46. I think her oldest is 14. She literally spends her entire day shuttling her kids around to insanely far away schools/camps through awful traffic. She complains about everything, and may be the least interesting person I've ever come across.

Her kid that's the same age as ours is a little dickface. She ignores him and allows him to run around like a little ####, being a jerkoff. He blew out the candles initially on my kid's cake when she was 3, and we had to relight. He's almost four, and she has NEVER VOLUNTEERED TO HOST IN FOUR YEARS. Mind you, "hosting" requires that you put out some snacks and let kids play in your house for two hours. It's not that rough.

I forget my point. Oh, the capper is that my wife has warned me that she breastfeeds with ####### completely out and told me I was free to make my scarce during playgroup, which is why my wife is the best.
