GM's thread about nothing (20 Viewers)

So, haven't been in here in a while. Can someone recap the last 1700 pages?
First 1000 pages were pretty funny and contained lots of great individual stories.

Last 700 pages are arguing about why people should dislike certain foods.

Lots of people got drunk.

Don't be friends with Bob.
Krista moved
Tanner has stupid kids with weird names in his class.
 This is by far one of the strangest groups of kids I've had in a long time.
can't wait for student council elections.
Day after tomorrow. I am going to do everything in my power to miss as much of the assembly as possible. I can't even enjoy them for the shtick factor these days.

damn. was hoping you could live blog it.

it would be better than a chick turning pages in catcher in the rye.

GL Mrs Flop. Sorry about the whole not being a heavy drinker thing though.

I would also like to see boobies w Krista.

I think I need to buy a tuxedo. Any cheap/not crappy recommendations? Current plan is to try to find something on Rue La La.

so our Costco just added a gas station

I went and tried it today

you don't have to be a Costco member and they don't take cash only American Express or a bank card

wth

Haven't seen Marcia on the outbound, but just got to a stop where there were 3 cops waiting at the train station.

I'm having a hard time dismissing this as a coincidence.

you mean you have to be a costco member?

They all only take debit cards and amex.

nope guy told me you don't even have to be a Costco member I found that odd
maybe it's a promotional thing to try to get people to join

Any other Costco suggestions? We just became members (actually seriously true)/I want to ruin this thread for good.
Just buy everything.

Love Costco. Love.
Vacations? Eye-glasses? Socks?
yes

yes

yes

plus tires, car rentals, hummus, salmon, liquor, luggage, bread, buns, coffee, eggs, milk, shoes, shirts, bagels, fruit, produce, meat, cereal, electronics, blue diamond almonds, corn chips, jerky, kettle chips, pretzels, popsicles, burgers, sausage, chicken, pasta, soup, toilet paper, paper towels, pop, lemonade, etc.

basically, all of it.
People, too. Good selection of people to buy. Ask for a supervisor and tell him, "I want the extra large rolls of Bounty."

Ditka, big fan of you live-blogging your commute.
I said the same thing earlier but didn't get a "like" from Ditka like you did. :kicksrock:

In two short days I've counted three (3) things you and I have in common now: correcting people's Italian, banning Floppo from the thread for not drinking, and enjoying Ditka's commute blogging. I'm starting to think we're soulmates.

wth
First time at Costco? This is standard.
um inside I can pay with cash but not at the gas station
oh

well, there's not really any person to pay at Costco gas stations so it doesn't seem that unusual to have people use cards and keep it all automated. just like paying at the pump at any other gas station except you can't use non-Amex credit cards.

lol except in nj where everything is full service ;) which annoys the #### out of me.

If I don't get a full service Nazi I'll pump myself

Need a skin-on, non-grilling recipe for haddock, stat.
Pre-heat broiler. Put haddock, skin side down, in a buttered broiler pan. Salt fillets and brush with butter (or just put a pat on each one).* Cover pan in foil. Broil on high for 10 min or until fish flakes. Serve with lemon wedges.

*at this point you can add other seasonings if you wish but you don't have to.

I think it's best fried. Dust in flour, dip in egg wash and roll in bread crumbs. Put in freezer while you heat half an inch of oil in a skillet. When medium high /325 degrees, fry the fishes until golden brown, flip and do the other side. Serve with jalapeño tartar sauce

I love you.

Not so much about this post, but in general, and I don't tell you this enough.

Wow all i can think to say is, score the skin sides of the filets with a knife so they don't curl up when you fry them. I love you too. Please bring the girls to see us. You can stay here next time Romo his the road for the man.
