At what point do you pull the plug on a marriage? I mean, I love my wife and I actually like hanging out with her and talking about stuff and we both like the same activities and we have lots of great sex and she's a really good mom and a good wife and everything, but she just told me that she wanted to donate to some girl from her high school who had a stroke but the girl who was organizing it never got back to her and she wasn't able to donate so now her names not on the card and I know I'm going to hear about this every night for a week.

Friday at school Cal got pissed off about having to do a writing assignment. To his credit he didn't go off the rails but (GBBently hi) this is part of the problem with not making him do stuff, for the most part, that he doesn't want to do. I understand his frustration because his handwriting is as bad as GM's and mine even with a lot of extra PTO time. I explained to him that as he gets older that more and more is going to be expected of him, that's just the way the world works. As he was crying in my arms he says "I don't know how you do it. You make everything seem so easy".

I should have been and actor, but I wound up with beer.
