The guy I had to sub for is the ******* love child of Eddie Deezen and this guy. I also just realized today that he's got some asperger's (NTTATWWT).
I've worked with him for a couple of years but never spent a lot of time around him. There is some noticible disconnect going on.

More on the storyI think it's pretty ####ty that his parents wouldn't even spell out his whole first name but made sure to include their middle initials. Maybe Tanner can tell us if that was customary back then, but seems odd to me.

It was pretty common to shorten common first names to save time, ink, and probably paper (in this case maybe marble?). Not sure why they used the full names of his parents other than maybe there weren't common abbreviations for Cornelius or Carrie.

I shared a post on teh FB but it looks like the comments didn't transfer. My nephew played against Kershaw, went 2-2 and had 3 stolen bases. Pretty cool. I'm jonesing like a coke addict right now. HFS, what a game.

I didn't do anything stupid today so no stories from me. My Goddaughter turned 16 today which is about the highlight. So I bought her a dozen roses and some stock.

Well I do have this. When the Cards were down 6-1 I told Mrs. SLB I was going to my GB's. Unannounced. She doesn't understand the nuances of sports like yelling at the TV. So I go to GB the book's house. He gets a phone call the neighbor that some kids are looking in cars so he called the cops. I'm 83% sure it was me he saw pacing around outside pounding darts but cool, the cops are coming. So right when I'm about to leave the cops show up. I went inside for a couple of minutes then left. Not much of a story really.

I almost bought her a card that had a cat on the front and in the inside said "You aren't getting older, you are getting closer to purrfect" or something. I was going to sign it "weird Uncle Bob". She's a good kid, really smart and a gifted athlete. She's pretty too. She is everything I wanted in a kid. Get her a gift a couple of times a year and not have to worry about her the rest of the time.
