GM's thread about nothing (30 Viewers)

I just got back from two hours of Christmas carols at the boys school
My own personal hell right there.
That's how I've always been too. It was really cool though. Instead of having the kids on the stage they all sat in front of it, criss cross apple sauce, Indian style if you ask me, and were all into it. It wasn't too long and it was cute. #### did I really just say cute? Well it was. Of course my boys love singing which made it better. My Mom & Dad showed up and I heard my Dad whisper to Mom that they must have gotten the music from her side of the family. I guess he's forgotten that his Dad was a great singer and played several instruments. (Is the banjo an instrument?) The hot librarian did a standing back flip several times because she got tagged as "nine ladys dancing or stomething". A STANDING BACKFLIP. This slut is 5'10 easy. Oh my. I got punched when I said "this gal has got some talent. I know it."

Then on Dyl's deal they were doing a song My Mechanical Gift or something and the music teacher had other's making the sounds. Well one sounded like she was giving a BJ and she knew it, everybody knew it. Her and the other hot teachers with her were all cracking up, so the kids were laughing their asses off. Wow.

Took the boys to see Santa today. Well first I had to stop by the store to buy a ton of soda. Breakroom is a big new category for us and we don't have stock all the time. Cal was cracking the 55+ year old gal behind us in line. "I'm thinking about trying the new lemon tea diet. I've read it really works." He is so ####### cool when he's on. He even put a plug in for the business. Grumpy checker lady rang everything up "wrong", I didn't even notice until we got to work, so I made an extra $35.

Cal is in the know about Santa and he kept trying to tell me what he wanted while playing it up for his little brother. He asked for 3 things. That the homeless get homes, hey Uni, a remote controlled helicopter and a headset. I've got him covered on the helicopter and my parents bought him the headset. He has a Youtube channel, without my knowledge and has followers.

We had some dinner and went to a park by the house decked out with Christmas lights. I've never done this before and it was spectacular. HFS. When we got home they put themselves to bed.

This stuff was good for my soul. Thanks for reading. I'm going to go watch Scrooged!, one of my favorite movies, so I can think about how good I've got it.

Peace

I've never understood people who get a sandwich with a pickle on the side and don't eat the pickle. I bet there's a ton of pickle waste in this country.
These people enrage me. And it's not like I can just ask for the pickle (depending on who I'm with). I'm getting upset just talking about it.

roverkid has to memorize a speech for her 5th grade class. she chose Dr. King's "I have a dream" speech. she's at her mom's tonight. she got in trouble and got sent to her room, so she decided to use the time to practice it, and sent me a voice recording. literally brought me to tears. I'm so proud of that kid.

That's awesome.

Maybe you should listen to it a few times before

Next month's topic is diversity and inclusion. I may have to be sick that day.

GB cos - I'm all for diversity and inclusion. I practice it every day.

What I don't need is 8 hours worth of people talking and crying about it.

You do realize taking BOTH hot PR chicks and lobbyists to the gun range and cocktails is not what Dr. King was talking about regarding diversity and inclusion, right?

I've also gotten hammered with the head of the Urban League, Black Lawyers Association, Hispanic Lawyers Association, Gay Lawyers Association and the Austin Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in the last month. I feel pretty solid about this position.I love minorities almost as much as I love party blondos.

You getting drunk with the Urban League and I'm moving to a country club.

THe world is turning upside down

Sorry to kind of snipe at you lately, but I'm still kind of resenting your unwillingness to introduce me to some local rehab magnates.

My son was admitted to children's hospital at about 1030 after being in the ER for like 5 hours with a bad case of the croup. Thopras not necessary as he should be OK, but the first 2 rounds of breathing treatments and steroids didn't help as much as they wanted. My wife is with him, there was no way she was going home to take care of the dog and leave him. She's so awesome.

At any rate, I have to give props to workers in the children's Er. So many screaming kids. So many ######## parents. So many brutal injuries and illnesses. I felt as bad for the nurses and doctors as I did the kids. For the most part these people are saints. It was my first real experience and other than a diagnosis I wasn't happy about, we were treated swiftly and had 2 different doctors helping.

IBATB for the next half hour or so. Twas a long day.

had some noob idiot actually modify a glenmorangie 18 with 1 cube of sugar. cause what else could one cube possibly be?
one ice cube.
Really?
If I'm drinking good bourbon at a bar I order it with one ice cube every time. I don't do it with scotch, but just a splash of water opens up the flavor. The slight chill is also a plus.
jesus fish. We were making fun of ####### in the bar business. I know how to drink scotch
so someone actually did put a sugar cube in 18 year old scotch?
No. The ding bat server heard the guest ask for the scotch with one cube. Bless her little heart, the only thing she could come up with in that wee little brain was, a sugar cube. The bartender put a stop to it
