Full disclosure: I am a Gonzo owner so I am hoping for the best here. But the one thing that jumped out at me after Green went out was how often Huard looked for Gonzo. Gonzalez had been pretty quiet with Green at QB but once Huard came in the passes started coming his way, including a touchdown. Was that a fluke? Maybe and it's entirely possible the entire Chiefs' offense goes in the toilet as long as Green is out. But if you are a Gonzalez owner that was a positive to see how involved he was with Huard at QB and maybe that's an indication his value won't be hurt too much if Huard continues to throw to him a ton.
Huard or no Huard, I believe Gonzo ends up in line with his career average after falling off last year. I could see around 75+ receptions, 800+ yards, and about 8 TDs. I think playing from behind had more to do with Gonzo's better game than Huard did. They way KC looked on Sunday, that could be a norm for this season.
