St. Louis Bob

I'm going to have to start watching the Rams games again. I've said for a few years now that it's almost like Vince McMahon is running the NFL. Sorry you got the fix against you this week, Seahawks fans.
I'd advise against it. It's so uninterestingly bad.I'm going to have to start watching the Rams games again. I've said for a few years now that it's almost like Vince McMahon is running the NFL. Sorry you got the fix against you this week, Seahawks fans.
Oh, I know. I think I've missed 3 games in 20 years.I'd advise against it. It's so uninterestingly bad.
Or you can just not fumble the ball at the end?
Personally, kind of done with the NFL, except making money off them. I sincerely appreciate the sentiment though.Maybe a real team will move to St Louis...
It's time for Fisher to go.Jeff Fisher admits link between Eric Dickerson’s criticism and his access
Great little organization huh? I read a lot about how fans in LA are FED UP with the Rams already just halfway though one season after a 20 year hiatus. Yet St. Louis is just baseball town after putting up with the same nonsense for a decade. I guess LA is just a baseball town too.
Christmas came early! It's time for Fisher to go.
Hope Kroenke keeps him forever.
I think the rule allowing multiple team ownership by single owners is a bad idea in general, Kroenke just shows how much damage one bad owner can do.What do the struggles of the Nuggets, Avs and Rapids have in common? Kroenke
Denver starting to get it finally.
Just to add to this point, he also owns the EPL side Arsenal (who I happen to support) and the fans are marching against him at the FA Cup Final this weekend. He's never put any of his own money in to the team, has turned down an offer to buy his shares at a $500m profit (as it stands he makes about $10m per year from Arsenal), takes money out as dividends and has refused to invest in the squad or replace the manager. This same manager is world renowned for being frugal so its no surprise Kroenke is happy with him even though we haven't won the league since 2004.I think the rule allowing multiple team ownership by single owners is a bad idea in general, Kroenke just shows how much damage one bad owner can do.
Thanks GB. Can't wait to get my Rams PSL money.Keep fighting the good fight, Bob.
I truly hope that ******* dies before the stadium is completed.
I have the feeling they are going to drag that out for years if possibleThanks GB. Can't wait to get my Rams PSL money.
Yet again.....Just to add to this point, he also owns the EPL side Arsenal (who I happen to support) and the fans are marching against him at the FA Cup Final this weekend. They were also saddled with two of the worst NFL owners for their eras.I happen to be from St. Louis, and I can tell you firsthand that it's the most boring sports town in America, with San Diego ranking second. Why do I say that? Because the city took two major professional sports for granted (football and basketball) and drove both of them out of town. And it's all because St. Louis wants to be a baseball town.
Offers evidence he is in the know because he's from St. Louis. Proceeds to talk about a basketball team that was gone before he was born.Yogibear said:I happen to be from St. Louis, and I can tell you firsthand that it's the most boring sports town in America, with San Diego ranking second. Don't go too hard on Yogi. This is the first time in 2 years he's posted about something other than how NFL players rank each other. We should encourage this.Offers evidence he is in the know because he's from St. Louis. Proceeds to talk about a basketball team that was gone before he was born.
This is the most generic, boring and wrong hot take.
I've asked them THREE TIMES, POLIETLY, to remove my e-mail from their mailing list but won't do it. So now I'm starting to reply to the e-mails "I can't wait until St. Louis wins the lawsuit against you for the scam you ran here. lol" and such.I have the feeling they are going to drag that out for years if possible
Right? Nobody from St. Louis would say this ever either.Offers evidence he is in the know because he's from St. Louis. I thought NFL rules didn't allow an owner to own other pro franchises in other cities? Did that change? What do the struggles of the Nuggets, Avs and Rapids have in common? Kroenke

Paul Allen is the majority owner of the Seahawks and BlazersI thought NFL rules didn't allow an owner to own other pro franchises in other cities? Did that change?
I think there is an allowance for if there is no NFL team in the other sport's city.Paul Allen is the majority owner of the Seahawks and Blazers
Yep, you're right. Kroenke had transferred ownership to his son to get around the rule.I think there is an allowance for if there is no NFL team in the other sport's city.
Right. Nobody here would say, "We don't need football or basketball. We have baseball and never want those sports." The NFL spewed that crap to convince the world that the fans here don't support the NFL but that's flat out false.Right? Nobody from St. Louis would say this ever either.
Interesting story, and also sad.According to a recent interview with Gene Mcnary, there was an agreement reached with Bidwell and the football Cardinals to stay in St. Louis in 1987. However the stadium would have been built where Riverport, or whatever they are calling it now, is. St. Louis Mayor Schoemehl didn't like this however because the businesses that owned him wanted the stadium downtown and said if was built anywhere else they would destroy his political career. So he killed the deal. Not only that but we probably would have gotten the San Antonio Spurs too.
God I hate these crooked politicians.
It is but I think STL may have dodged a bullet with the Rams leaving. I don't care what anybody says, the state of the NFL right now is not good. I just heard there will be CTE scans during the game? The optics on this will be, bad.Interesting story, and also sad.
Yep every player that dies during games will be immediately tested. It is but I think STL may have dodged a bullet with the Rams leaving. I don't care what anybody says, the state of the NFL right now is not good. I just heard there will be CTE scans during the game? The optics on this will be, bad.
