How's the quality. Eporner.com has hd streams that have very high quality even when on full screen on the laptop. Most sites look terrible blown up. Trying to get an idea of how a good stream would look on a big screen tv for sports and porn of course.

Quality is not bad at all. I was a bit concerned the first time I cast YouTube... it came up quite blurry, but once it fully "buffered" (5-10 seconds), it was fine.

Based on your suggestion, I cast a slutty little amateur whore from eporner in "HD"... looked good on the TV, admittedly not as sharp as on the laptop, but a step above the non-HD videos. I am no videophile, so take this with a grain of salt, but I see NO problem with the quality so far.

Porn in ultra high definition isn't necessarily a good thing. Kinda like a brightly lit strip club.

You have to go to your extension settings and enable the ones you want to run in Incognito mode....

Worse range, but less chance of interference and better speeds usually vs 2.4 Ghz. Surprised it doesn't have dual radios.

In options, enable desktop for whole-desktop mirroring.

It powers through a USB attachment or if you don't have usb on your TV (like me) you have to plug it in. (supplied usb to AC plug)

I streamed from a different tube site from Chrome tab on my laptop. As soon as I hit CAST it got all choppy. I tried some adjustments in the options menu but it didn't help. It's only Beta so we'll see how that improves over time. Youtube and Netflix from laptop works great.

So I set up Google Play and had no problems casting from both my phone and my desktop.

FWIW, my router has the option to create 2 different networks, one for 2.4 and another for 5.0. Just set that up and will try to set up the chromecast later

I've been playing around with Chrome, trying to learn it since I never had it before getting Chromecast.

You can't cast a movie directly from your phone yet unless you upload it to youtube. You can cast a movie from a desktop/laptop Chrome browser tab using Drive. Tab casting isn't available yet on mobile devices.

You're not streaming it from your phone. Your phone is being used to make the wi-fi conection to the chromecast. Once that happens, your wi-fi streams to your chromecast and to your TV. Your phone is pretty much taken out of the loop, although there is still control for pause/stop and volume.

Maybe a better way to explain it is to think of the Chromecast as a computer. It can connect to a web address and stream, but there is no keyboard or monitor attached to the Chromecast. Your phone, tablet, or pc acts as the input to tell the Chromecast where to go find the stream. Once the connection is made, the input tools are no longer needed and the stream just runs between the web server and the Chromecast.
