Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday just killed this part. So great, simply an amazing performance and stole every scene he was in.

I know The Godfather will be brought up a lot in this thread, deservedly so. My pick from the movies is John Cazale as Fredo. Remarkable performance, especially in part 2.

He was also fantastic in Dog Day Afternoon.

I have no doubt that had he lived longer we’d be talking about him in the same breath as deniro, pacino, Brando.

Kelly Macdonald in the same. She steals the final scene with him because she's so good. Scottish with that American Southern accent. Unreal.

twofer- Burl Ives and Paul Newman in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. All performances were good and Liz Taylor nailed her role but Ives and Newman crushed as father and son slapping each other straight with uncomfortable and painful truths while squelching mendacity. The acrid smell dies at the end, fyi. Spoiler alert.

Got the wife to watch Heat for the first time recently. DeNiro and Pacino role's played to perfection. Two flawed men, doing the only thing they know how to do and the rest of their life around them a disaster. Pacino is extraordinary in this role where he just goes off on people at any point. One of the best films from the 90s for sure.
