He hosts that show "Fool Us" which I GUESS you could call a game show.Love Penn Gilette ... but did I miss the game show he hosted?
That first list has a few people like that, as someone pointed out above.

Dawson was funny and seemed like a genuine good guy. Not so sure his kissing would be as acceptable today though.facook said:Man, Richard Dawson was so money. Whether as a guest on Match Game or the make-out host of Family Feud.
You know ... I had remembered that Dawson usually kissed them on the cheek. I thought the lip-to-lip peck was just a now-&-then thing.Dawson was funny and seemed like a genuine good guy. Not so sure his kissing would be as acceptable today though.
Yep..I remember Wollery..That's when they won money then had to go shopping for prizes....which were always ridiculously over priced. And you had to spend every possible dollar. If you had $20 and there was a ceramic owl available for $14, your ### was going home with a ceramic Owl.Doug B said:(this thread has led me to do some Googling and Wiki-ing ...)
Speaking of Trebek ... I hadn't realized that he hosted several episodes of Wheel of Fortune in the past, including at least once filling in for Chuck Woolery years before doing Jeopardy!
I also hadn't realized that Pat Sajak and Vanna White came to Wheel so 'late' -- it had already been on the air for seven years with Woolery before Sajak and White came on board in 1982. My memory erroneously tells me that there were very late 1970s episodes with Sajak & White, but I remember wrong.
One more factoid: Wheel of Fortune did try a male letter turner for a few episodes -- Laugh-In alum Arte Johnson. Safe to say Vanna was a big step up.
1. Gene Rayburn - Match Game is my all time favorite game show.grateful zed said:

Yes, his glasses must have weighed a ton.Extra points for Cullen, as he was not only blind as a bat (ever notice how thick the lenses were on his glasses?), he also had polio. I know game show hosts aren't known for their mobility anyway, but nevertheless....
#12 and they forgot to add Baltimore Ravens to his resume.grateful zed said:Wink Martindale?
I remember him doing this, but seeing it now seems creepy. Watching a few minutes of this, looks like he kissed the same girls multiple times. I always thought it was only the first time he talked to each.Dawson was funny and seemed like a genuine good guy. Not so sure his kissing would be as acceptable today though.
Yes I agree she sucked as a temp host. Figured we were looking at more tenured positions.Joe Summer said:Vanna has been filling in as host for the past few weeks while Pat was recovering from surgery.
She sucks.
he was never the same after he went gray.Could never stand Barker.
