rikishiboy still has 3 picksWhere is the judging?
I loved the first one. Beat it, borrowed it to a so-called friend that forgot it was mine (supposedly) and traded it in. Never bought it again, but it was awesome. Crazy end boss too if I remember correctly.was anyone a fan of the legacy of kain series?
Going to be some down time this week so I will still be judging. I want to do the categories justice by researching all the games though.Congratulations on the twins!Busy day here guys. My wife gave birth to our twins.Going to be some down time this week so I will still be judging. I want to do the categories justice by researching all the games though. One thing I will say about the Pacman controversy from page 38-41, even though history considers Pacman Atari a monumental bad game, I see it as a bad port. It happens. You can keep the game but it probably won't rate well in the worst game ever compared to some of those contenders. But I will be fair and give ratings for each of the categories to show why I felt they ranked where they were. I will probably have all the rankings done by the end of the week. I will post a category when I have it done though.
Here's the spin off game I was talking about...Arm WrestlingROUND 3
1. pollardsvision Mike Tyson Punch-Out (NES)
- Great arcade game and great port, I still have a PCB for a spin off game that I wanted to use to build a hybrid cabinet mod that I won't spotlight even though I'm sure it won't get picked.

Raid over MoscowImpossible Mission - Best c64 game of all

love this game... but puzzle? more racing than puzzle (time trial? lol)never could beat it...Puzzle: Marble Madness (NES)
It definitely has racing elements, but I'd still call it a puzzle game.love this game... but puzzle? more racing than puzzle (time trial? lol)never could beat it...Puzzle: Marble Madness (NES)
Track and Field (1983)
Rampage (1986)
Super Star Wars (or sequels)
Pikmin 2 / Pikmin
Track & Field
Ice Hockey (NES)
Pikmin 2
Ikari Warriors (Arcade)
All of these games I had queued up at some point. Really had Colossal Cave Adventure ready to go for Flex game but didn't do it. Thought about Pikmin for puzzle. I thought I was the only one who ever owned Super Star Wars... never did own Jedi though. I have them on my Wii console but need a controller to play them. One game I thought would get picked for the Arcade and/or Sports is: Super ChexxElevator Action - This one too.
Colossal Cave Adventure - This started it all for me
I vaguley remember it.Anyone play Altered Beast?
Oh heck yeah, they had an arcade machine at the Minneapolis airport for the longest time.Big fan as a kid.Anyone play Altered Beast?
Was very close to taking Twisted Metal, as well as SweetTooth for best villianPlatform - Rachet and Clank:Going Commando.
Don't know were Twisted Metal would fit, but the 1st 2 and BLACK (PS2) were bad ###.
In fact I would probably have SweetTooth as my Villain. Dude is creepy and plays the hero at the end killing the real bad guy himself (Calypso the founder of the twisted metal arena.)
Sweet tooth (Black) Story -
Still my favorite of all the GTAs.Final pick--- I gotta be honest while I loved this game I kind of didn't want to take it because other ones like it were already taken and it has been talked about already....please don't hold any of that against me though, because this thing needs to end and besides it is a great game.
6th generation-- Grand Theft Auto--Vice City (PS2)
I will have the Third Gen Judging in by Wednesday. Need to lay out all the games on the floor and let my 2 year old just pick at random.

So you're saying there's a chance...I will have the Third Gen Judging in by Wednesday. Need to lay out all the games on the floor and let my 2 year old just pick at random.

This would have been my sports choice. The two sports games that had the most impact on me (and almost ending my college career before it began) were Ken Griffey Baseball and Madden '93.I still consider my 161-1 record with the Toronto Blue Jays as my best video game accomplishment ever.Am I the only fan of Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball for SNES? My cousin and I played that game A TON. I know the Sports category was deep, but was kind of surprised this wasn't taken.
Arcade rankings will be in Tuesday.

Did X-Wing and TIE Fighter get passed over again too? TIE Fighter and WC were 2 of the most popular PC games in the early-mid '90's. I'm guessing since nobody plays flight sims anymore, they have forgotten how big that genre was for a long time. TIE Fighter was in the top 10 games of all time as listed by IGN a few years back.Anything Wing Commander. Wasn't this a hugely popular PC game series?
