And he was money even though he didn't get an attempt over 50 yards.I started him week 1
You see that funny smiley face thing winking? That means it's a joke. Welcome to the interwebs.lol wdis kicker thread.what is it with all these wdis people?the entire point of playing fantasy football is making these decisions.if you can't make decisions just find something else to do with your time.
11 points. Solid. And I agree is a lot of fun having him and actually caring about the Rams hoping they'd be in 50 yard kick scenarios. Entirely stupid but fun.Just picked up Greg the Leg. Brings at least a little excitement to the boring kicker position. Since kickers are interchangeable i always like to add some elementto the position that makes it enjoyable. Whether that is grabbing your home team kicker, the kicker of your stud rb (so that if he gets stuffed in the red zone you getsome consolation points), or in this case a rookie with a monster leg that is exciting to watch. I say if the kicker position really is worthless and a lucky crapshoot, find a kicker that adds some personal enjoyment to your Sundays.
Legatron breaking the 100 play TD drought for St. Louis today too.
This one probably would have only went 64 or 65 yards.Just nailed a 60 yarder. Fischer elected to do this instead of punt on opening drive of second half.
How about now?A Rams kicker is hardly FF gold.Haven't seen anything from the team thus far to believe it will be any different than last year when their kicker was 31st in FF scoring.
And a major difference, as I pointed out at the time, was that Brown couldn't hit long FGs so the Rams simply didn't attempt them. It was easy to see what might be different. How about now?A Rams kicker is hardly FF gold.Haven't seen anything from the team thus far to believe it will be any different than last year when their kicker was 31st in FF scoring.
I dropped Graham for him after week 1 thanks to this thread. If you can still get him go for it. His value is in the fact that when the Rams would normally punt they will now try field goals so in that sense he is matchup proof (unless you think the Rams won't even get to the 50.)Seems like this guy is ranked really low every week and he is now the number 2 scoring kicker in my league. I might have to drop Graham for this kid. What's the overall feeling going forward with games against Miami, GB, NE, and SF? Do the Rams have enough offense to at least get to the 43 yd line and keep up so that kicking a FG is a viable option on 4th down?
I wouldn't worry too much about those defenses, they're all fairly susceptible to short passing attacks which is all the rams really have at this point. And they certainly have shown no problem dinking and dunking their way to the opponent's 40, which is about all Leg needs really. Also Fisher's teams always seem to be disciplined in defense and special teams so I expect them to have decent field position in most games as well. If your league gives bonus for long FGs, Leg is a must add, the kid is $.Seems like this guy is ranked really low every week and he is now the number 2 scoring kicker in my league. I don't think they've ever heard of him.So the question I have - why does FBG continue to rate him so low? He's listed as 29th and 30th by Dodds & Herman.

Why in god's name is he on your taxi squad? Get him in the lineup, man!Greg The Leg is the first kicker ever on my taxi squad!
Zuerlein has scored double digits pts every week so far (in leagues with yardage bonuses like you listed).I still can't bring myself to start a Rams kicker, even with yardage bonuses (0-39=3, 40-49=4, 50+=5). What I really want from my kicker is to avoid the 0 and 1 point days. I'm sticking with Justin Tucker and the Baltimore offense.
Unfortunately I can't make use of those points by picking him up now. I have to play for the upcoming weeks, and his offense still makes me nervous.Zuerlein has scored double digits pts every week so far (in leagues with yardage bonuses like you listed).I still can't bring myself to start a Rams kicker, even with yardage bonuses (0-39=3, 40-49=4, 50+=5). Why? He's been good against both good defenses and bad defenses (not that I'd really worry about the Rams never settling for FGs). He was a little off in his only non-dome game, but it was still an above average week, and he's indoors for most of his remaining games, and 3 out of the 4 before his bye.Unfortunately I can't make use of those points by picking him up now.
