Greg Zuerlein (1 Viewer)

Yes, I accept that the Rams are facing one of the best defenses in the yes. Yes, I accept that it's likely that the Rams will not get anywhere within scoring position on the 49ers. Yes, I accept that I could be selling Amendola's contributions to the Rams offense short.

However, I do not accept that Greg Zuerlein is the worst rated kicker in this week's rankings.

Fight the power.

Zuerlein forever.

With tears in my eyes, I ditched The Leg for Shayne Graham. Even with the booming power and extra point in my league for distance, I just think Graham may be the more dependable option over the stretch to secure my playoff spot.
Graham was available on the wire this week (along with Legatron, who I dropped during the bye in a shallow league), but I decided to stick with Jason Hanson. The only game I'm worried about is Week 14 - Lions are at GB, Rams are at BUF.

Tough break last week - nailed a 53 yarder for the win, but the Rams got a delay of game penalty (with a timeout in the their pocket!). Missed the subsequent 58 yard attempt.

Hanson is 4-4 in three home games, 14-16 in six road contests. With 3 straight and 5 if the last 7 at Ford Field, I might cut him tomorrow and hop back on the Legatron train. Kid has a nice schedule.

Has anything changed? He has had fewer opportunities since his big game 7 weeks ago. Yet offense (and kickers) ebb and flow. With Amedola back I think they'll start moving the chains more and keep drives alive. Rationalizing? Or solid reasoning?

I still love the kid, but I'm ready to admit that you have to pick your spots with him.In domes? Auto-start.Outdoors against superior teams? Not so much.I am fortunate in that we have super deep rosters, so I can pick up an additional kicker any week I don't love Leg's matchup.
Ready to jump ship yet? It's time.

HELLS no. Great matchup this week, home to the Jets.I see two 50+ yarders.

Cut him around his bye week for Bryant in one league and Gould in another. Now that Cutler's down, I'm thinking about picking him back up in the league where I have Gould.

Anyone feel strongly about Legatron vs. Gould?

STL is at home for 3 of the next 5 (NYJ @ARI SF @BUF MIN), while CHI has a pretty tough schedule (@SF MIN SEA @MIN GB).

did you forget that @ARI and MIN are in a dome, too?

On my waivers. IN.

Played Tucker this week over him in one of my leagues and don't regret it, but now I'm riding him in both my leagues the rest of the way.

In a must-win week in which my opponent is favored to win by a decent bit, I'm rolling out the Leg to try to make up some ground. STL should be able to move the ball at will, he's at home...I mean this guy has to explode this week, right? I'm hoping for 2 50+, a 30+, 3 or 4 PAT's, and hopefully a TD on a fake FG. Let's goooooooooo :lmao:

I was the Captain of this ship. It's only right that I'm the last one to go down with it.

The good news is that I'm getting killed today anyway, so Greg didn't matter.

Did they even attempt a field goal yesterday?

I can tell from the box score that they stopped even trying for extra point kicks because they were trailing so much.

I didn't see the game, what gives?

You got it. That's what happened. It's Tucker until they get their O back in gear and their D playing good where they can stall out and attempt FGs.

I'm not sure I can let him go. I look at the fact that he's put up just one point on my team twice in the last three weeks and yet I still keep thinking, he could EXPLODE!

Gah. Zuerlein. Why are you doing this to us?

he's plummeted to K4 from his spot well away from the pack. still can't bring myself to drop a guy who is K4 playing in a dome with this kind of leg strength and accuracy

Yeah, I'm holding him in every dynasty until he gets consistent, I don't care if it takes two years. I play in deep leagues and don't mind burning a roster spot on a guy who can easily have a 20-pt day at the K position when things line up.

Been rolling with Hanson, meant to pick up Legatron but the 9th place team beat me to it. They were covering the Walsh bye so I'm hoping they drop him so I can scoop him up on Sunday waivers (we run twice a week).

I would feel totally comfortable riding him the rest of the season.

Dynasty is a no-brainer. The team is getting better but not even close enough to drive down the field and score TDs.

why isn't this thread on page 1 anymore?

see if Barth is still available like i did...a month ago.

edit: i see someone bumped before i could, lol
