Top kicker in fantasy week 1, and he's kicking in a dome this week, and what does FBG do with him?

#16 in the rankings.

Criminal.
Insane.

At least the ESPN so-called fantasy "experts" got it mostly right:

Cut him after Week 1 to add a roster spot and went kickerless until today where I thought someone would sweep him up, as he's just a kicker.

Well, still on the wire with others kickers being added and dropped. This is a time when people looking at all kickers as just kickers is a good thing.

Kickers are not just kickers, some have huge advantaged, Young G-Z is one of them.

Do you still like Legatron in leagues where all field goals are 3? Or do you go with someone on a higher powered offense like Henery that may get more kicking opportunities?

I think I'm about to pull the trigger on getting in for another year, even though positions like NYG, PIT, and CIN greatly outscored him last season in my league that gives 4 for 40+ and 5 for 50+, but also penalizes misses. Hard to drop Josh Brown, but the STL offense is really moving. I'll feel a little weird about starting 3 Rams, though! Feels like 1999...

Bradford is low end #1 QB, Cook is a #1 TE, Givens and Tavon are good #3 WR's and Legatron is the best K in the league. The Rams offense will move the ball all year and Legatron will get plenty of chances. Bradford should reach Romo type status this year.

His value is definitely much lower in leagues like that.

Don't have to tell me twice. Bradford's my backup QB, Cook's my TE, and I have Richardson in a few places, too. What a difference a few players can make.

I like DRich a lot. I just worry Pead and Stacey will eat into his production and Shotty will throw 40 times per game. I would love to see several screens to DRich and Pead per game. Get them in space as often as possible

The deflected pass that was ran back for a score to make it 21-0 is gonna make it hard for Zuerlein to have a big day. He did just make it 21-3, but that pick six was a killer.

Their defense can't stop anyone and the offense is always going for it - as they just did. I will have to get someone else for next week.

Welp, what do we do with this guy, boys? Sticking with him or going after a kicker from a better offensive team? It's hard watching the Rams offense sputter and not getting anywhere near the red zone. And when they do, they're so far behind that field goals aren't an option.

Nothing would suck more than getting 1 point from our kicker Thursday night to start off the week.

Still rolling with Legatron or cutting bait?

they play the niners this week. i cant stand another one point game

Same old Rams. They just can't sustain enough offense to make this guy a viable option every week.
This. Such a shame. But no running game and Bradford is horrible.
Shhh...He attempted a FG and made it with crossbar help so we're making progress damnit! And the Rams have 37 seconds here to get him in miracle range. I actually like the odds of a 50+ attempt before halftime. ~Fingers crossed~

nothing against the leg, but i'm moving on next week. it doesn't really matter if he can kick 65 yarders if fischer won't let him attempt them. strip, fumble, and a 3 n out @ the 50...

oh well, maybe next year.

Pickup Sturgis if he's available in your leagues, fellas. He's the 2013 version of Legatron.

He booms 50+ yarders with ease, he's accurate from all distances and he's on a much more consistent offense. And you get to watch him on Monday night this week. :)

for those of us here, I think this week's too late...

I almost did that (sturgis), but w/ smith and willis out, STL just HAD to put up some points at home in primetime, right??

ETA: now STL is down about 20, so Fischer will not let him kick anymore... at least we (zuerlein owners) tripled our output at K from last week.

Do the Rams have ONE good skill player on offense?

SMH. Deep league with FA pickup limit so I keep 2 kickers and sat Zuerlin for Hartley but my gracious the Rams are terrible. I hate to waste a pickup to on another K but this kid doesnt have a chance.

Rams offense is awful.

Well in the end it's just a kicker and we only wasted 3 games of the season with him (getting one good game out of him). Time to move on.

Look, I'm a Legatron owner here too who was telling all of you to drop him last year (check this very thread), and I'm frustrated just like you. I was a bear last year because of the Rams' offense. I was a bull this year because I bought into the idea of the Rams improving. I think we all see that isn't happening this year to the degree we need it to.

That being said...are you really going to drop him now!? I'm going to start him next week at home against the Jags and then drop him. The schedule is not all that easy after that. I will go with whatever kicker from a winning team I can find in week 6.

I washed my hands with him last week. Its frustrating to watch them go for two when they werent even in the game just like last week when they went for two and going for it on 4th down

Droppable in all formats now. Plays on a team with a poor defense and terrible offense. That's a field position nightmare.
