I'm not a blonde guy but she's definitely attractive. Her personality is pretty bland, however, and when you combine that with her public statements and general persona the word I come up with is "lame".

I don't see how if you had been living in a cave for 20 years, and then walked into a bar and saw Anna Kendrick and Gwyneth Paltrow side by side, you wouldn't think that Gwyneth was the more attractive of the two.

Now, knowing the, at least public, personas of the two, Kendrick seems light years cooler and much more like the person with whom I would want to date, because Gwyneth appears to be so pretentious it is nauseating.

I'm not saying she's the hottest girl on the planet or even close but given the gamut of women I'd put her in the upper 10-20%. I could see some going higher/lower based on personal preferences but on average she's way above average that's all.

Perhaps by your definition it's laughable. I'm not even sure people are saying she's ugly. Physical make up isn't the only qualifier for most when it comes to "hot" though. As a matter of fact, I tend to think it's bizarre that some overlook her comments/beliefs. Seems backwards to me.

I guess I have been following her career since she broke in 15 plus years ago, and really always thought of her as a "classic beauty". My view of that hasn't changed.

That said, her level of pretension is so off the charts it is revolting, I don't think it is debatable. Her GOOP ridiculousness and $90 white t-shirts make her seem like a pretty terrible person to be around.
