If you have any SUNDAY updates on the status of Hakeem Nicks, please post them here.

If you want to discuss your lineup predicaments or shooot the breeze, go to the Assistant Coach forum or another thread in the Shark Pool discussing this situation.

This thread is strictly for the latest Sunday news

on NY radio, they expect Nicks to start and play. Nothing confirmed however. Even so bump Cruz and Ballard. Especially if Manningham can't go.

ESPN's Colleen Dominguez "could play today but will be limited" and recommending Cruz.
who the hell is Colleen Dominguez?
(Rotoworld) Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) "feels good" and expects to start in Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Analysis: Nicks is expected to start after passing an individual workout on Saturday and practicing on a limited basis this week. He'll be at less than 100 percent but is still worth starting and should tentatively be in fantasy lineups. Mario Manningham (knee) is a full blown game-time decision. With New York not playing until 4:15 ET, owners should have a fallback plan in the event Manningham can't go.

RT @Giants: Definitely happy. I ran yesterday. Ran today. Still no setbacks. No pain afterwards. It’s looking good. - WR Hakeem Nicks

This is what is on his player profile on ESPN.com per rotowire - Manningham is going to be active too. Says nothing in there about him being limited.

Nicks (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Spin: Mario Manningham, also a game-time decision, is active as well, which is great news for the Giants' offense, along with those owners who gambled that the team's top two wideouts would be a go.
