Michael back there is intriguing but he doesn't have the speed that Kearse does.
Michael is faster than Kearse. BOOM.

I'm talking about a 100 yard sprint, not their 40 time. BOMBASTIC SIMPLETON.
Sure you are bro. :lmao:

Im pretty sure Michael is faster at the 100 yard sprint as well considering he is faster in every category. You must have links to 100 yard sprints Im not aware of...lol.

:own3d:
Oh, you're pretty sure? I guess I stand corrected and certainly wouldn't want to ask you for those same links. Because if ITS is pretty sure, then that's as good as written in stone! I mean, they have a 0.04 difference in their 40 time, so there's no possible way that Kearse could possibly be faster in a sprint that's 2.5 times longer. There's never been anyone in the history of the NFL who's faster in a long sprint than a short one! I'm not pretty sure, so I guess I could be wrong though.

I don't think you know what owned means.
Its ok to be wrong. You don't have to "WIN" every internet argument. I like how pissed this is making you. So much so that despite what the numbers say you still deny it. Classic Sweeney......you living in California I expect a disconnect when it comes to the Hawks.
This was the last straw. On ignore now.

Percy Harvin (hip) participated fully in Seahawks practice Friday.
The Seahawks are on a bye and obviously don't play in the Wild Card round, but this is more confirmation that Harvin is on pace to return in the Divisional round. Coach Pete Carroll said after Friday's workout that Harvin is seen as "day to day." The Seahawks will likely start Harvin barring next-week setbacks.

Injury roundup: Percy Harvin practices with Seahawks

By Marc Sessler

Around the League Writer

Excerpt:

Percy Harvin's long-awaited return to the field might arrive just in time.

The Seahawks receiver practiced again Tuesday, ahead of Saturday's NFC divisional playoff showdown with the New Orleans Saints, coach Pete Carroll announced.

The Seattle X-factor also participated in Friday's session, but Carroll told reporters that Tuesday's practice would loom as a huge factor in whether or not Harvin plays this weekend. "If (Percy's) playing, that means we're going to do whatever we planned to do with him," Carroll said.

Harvin has appeared in only one game this season after undergoing surgery on the hip last summer. His presence would give Seattle's fairly thin receiving corps a tremendous boost against Rob Ryan's defense.

If he does play, he'll likely be put on a snap count, but everything we know about Harvin tells us he only needs one opportunity to wreak havoc on a game plan.

Rotoworld:

Percy Harvin (hip) practiced in full Wednesday.
Harvin's teammates raved about his participation level and the way he looked on the field Wednesday. It's looking like he'll be a go for Saturday against the Saints.

Rotoworld:

Percy Harvin (hip) remained "full" in Thursday's practice, and "absolutely" expects to be active for the Divisional Round.

Speaking after Thursday's practice, coach Pete Carroll went so far as to claim that Harvin wouldn't be on a snap count. Harvin believes he's turned a corner, so much so that he "absolutely" hopes to return kicks vs. the Saints. Despite Carroll's proclamation, we still expect Harvin's role to be limited — he's simply missed too much time — but he'll be a high-upside play in daily leagues. The Seahawks offense was stagnant at times in December, and Harvin could be just the jolt it needs.

Rotoworld:

Coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks won't know Percy Harvin's status until Wednesday or Thursday.

Harvin is in the concussion protocol after getting lit up by Saints S Rafael Bush on Saturday. It's not the kind of injury he can fight through. Either Harvin will feel no symptoms and get cleared by an independent doctor, or the Seahawks will have to roll with Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse as their top-three wideouts in the NFC Championship Game.

That was a great hit that Bush laid on Harvin.

Is there a slo-mo of that? Looks clean to me. Hard, but clean.

Not dirty, but should have been a penalty under the current NFL rules. Bush didn't launch at Harvin, and he didn't lead with his helmet. He hit Harvin's chest with his shoulder, then there was helmet-to-helmet contact, so it is illegal in today's NFL. But in no way was it "dirty."

That was good physical football. Had Harvin stayed in his upright position Bush would have nailed him below the shoulders. Harvin dipped at the last second as did Bush. Bush did not launch but ran right through Harvin.

Yeah, the helmet-to-helmet was incidental. Totally clean, albeit rough, hit.

Rotoworld:

Coach Pete Carroll confirmed Percy Harvin didn't suffer any setbacks with his hip in Saturday's Divisional Round win over the Saints.

"Way ahead of the game on that," Carroll said. Harvin is now just battling the concussion issue. He's in the league's protocol after taking a lick from Saints S Rafael Bush. We're unlikely to know Harvin's status for the NFC Championship game until later this week. Harvin played 19 offensive snaps Saturday.

How is it that Harvin was allowed to come back in the game after the Bush hit? Didn't the league warn that there would be stiff penalties for doing that? They said during the game that Harvin passed protocol, but everybody & their brother, including Carroll, are pointing to that hit as the cause of Harvin's concussion.

I think it was the second hit in the endzone. Harvin landed on his head, and then got a forearm hit to the head in addition to that.

Because the nfl is playing a shellgame w concussions, trying to look like they're doing something without doing much. The idea that the concussed player needs to decide if he can go back in is ludicrous on its face. The idea that coaches can make the decision is even stupider. You have a team medical staff, they should have final authority to decide who is ruled out, period. Players cant be overriding doctors ESPECIALLY ABOUT HEAD INJURIES.

Rotoworld:

Percy Harvin (concussion) was held out of Wednesday's practice.

Instead, he met with doctors. The Seahawks haven't offered much of an update on Harvin's status, suggesting there's a real chance he misses Sunday's NFC Championship Game. He should be considered no better than 50-50 to suit up. Harvin's status will be updated Thursday.

Percy Harvin (concussion) will not practice Thursday.

It's the same news we heard on Wednesday; Harvin has yet to be cleared and remains in the league's concussion protocol. The Seahawks remain hopeful he'll play Sunday. If Harvin can't go, it'll be Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin, and Jermaine Kearse as Seattle's top three receivers.

Percy Harvin still not cleared for Seattle Seahawks

By Chris Wesseling

Around the League Writer

The window is quickly closing on Percy Harvin's chances of suiting up for the Seattle Seahawks' NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.

A source informed of Harvin's condition has told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that the wide receiver has not gained clearance from his concussion as of Friday morning.

This is obviously not a good sign for the playmaker.

Don't assume Harvin is definitely out, though. The Seahawks are still "waiting," per Rapoport.

The key is which of the two levels of clearance Harvin is seeking. The first is the team doctor green-lighting football activity. The second is an independent neurologist giving the go-ahead for full contact.

We will have a better idea of Harvin's status when the Seahawks' injury report is released late Friday afternoon.

We previewed Championship Sunday and sat down with Rams star Robert Quinn in the latest "Around The League Podcast."

So clean that the NFL fined Bush 21K

So, we'll have to base his 2014 value off of what, 25 snaps in 2013?
The guy's uber talented and tough, but man oh man. He'll go off preseason and end up with a 4th or 5th round price tag. Too steep for me I think.

Mentally tough maybe?

15, 14 and 16 games played his first three years with 1,300 All purpose in 2011 (with 345 of that rushing). I'm sure the consensus is he's plenty talented whne he plays. But only 9 + games since then leaves one to wonder about durability/fragility.

Could he be a cap casualty this offseason?
No.
Yeah, they traded a first for him than paid him like a top five WR, he definitely isn't going anywhere,

In the first half of 2012, he was one of the most productive WRs with Calvin Johnson.
I remember that one game he did really good before he got hurt.
He was the #2 WR in the first 8 games of 2012.
Must have been a really good game. :)

Hoping he'll prove worthy of the trade and the contract next year, otherwise tough for the Seahawks...
If he can stay on the field i think he will. Even in his limited time on the field this year, you could see the difference he brought to the offense. Last week Seattle's offense was night and day when he was on the field.

That he missed half the season in 2012 isn't in dispute. How well he did when he played was. You said he had a good game but he was #2 in the first half.

Are you predicting injury in 2014? Which one? When? How many games missed?

* Ignoring his rushing yards with the never had 1,000 yards shtick (perhaps you meant receiving yards, though you didn't specify or qualify the response, otherwise mistaken in terms of total, combined yards, as pointed out upthread) is a puzzling omission, as he is probably the greatest rusher from the WR position in league history. That would be like evaluating Vick's body of work in ATL and leaving out all his rushing numbers, or Sproles as a RB in PPR leagues while ignoring his receiving numbers.

Sources tell FOX Sports that the Seahawks expect Percy Harvin (concussion, hip) to play in the Super Bowl.

The two week layoff ahead of the Super Bowl should do Harvin wonders. His concussion is considered mild, and he came out of the Saints game without any setbacks in his hip. It sets up Harvin to be a major weapon in the biggest game of the year even though he's logged a grand total of 39 snaps during his first season with Seattle. Expect a fistful of manufactured touches in addition to work in the return game.

Rotoworld:

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Percy Harvin (concussion) "should be fine" for Super Bowl 48.

Both FOX Sports and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Harvin was expected to face Denver in two weeks, so Carroll was just confirming. Harvin is likely to return kicks and play in all three-receiver sets against the Broncos, also working in some two-wide packages opposite Golden Tate. Harvin's return will undoubtedly boost a Seattle team that is currently a two-point Super Bowl underdog.
