Scenario: You need a QB to play a game for your favorite NFL team this season and can only select one from of the HoF QBs listed in this poll as they are now, NOT in their prime. Who do you want?

NOTE: I did not include Troy Aikman because he is so much younger (43) than the rest of the QBs on the list and I figured he would run away with it.

Why would Steve Young be winning this poll? Unless maybe everyone would like to see him come back and get the #### kicked out of him...

He seems to be in the best shape?
As long as he isn't tackled, he'll be fine. I wouldn't bring him back because I'd feel bad for his family if he were hit in the head. I went with Elway but Moon would rock.

I would think that you'd want a guy that never had to depend on his wheels to be good since the legs are probably shot on all these guys at their age. Elway, Young and Marino are the top 3 but I would eliminate Young based on the fact that he was very dependant on his legs. Marino's end of career slide was imo due to injuries and an arrogant Jimmy Johnson who tried to use a blue print instead of adapting to the teams strength. Elway got out still healthy with no significant injuries but....he looks to be in terrible shape. I went with Marino.

Considering how ling winded Steve Young is I doubt he could get the play called and get his team lined up in time to even run a play.

Marino

I voted Young for this reason, he's probably the only guy still fast enough to take the snap, get back, set & throw before he get's the snot knocked out of him.

This is the way I voted. I think Marino may be in the best shape though.

A guy this old, you'd have to put in shot gun. With a hall of fame QB, you'd be looking for his passing ability...

Who better in the shotgun and at 4 wide then Jim Kelly?

I like Elway as well

probably a little biased but voted for Young. Young was still playing at an all-pro level when the concussions got to him.

Voted Moon.

Should have teamed each player with an actor to portray them in the movie.

Elway/Kurt Russell in a runaway.
